Captain Taxi

Booked a taxi on christmass eve days in advance to catch a flight. When it was late I called and they had no record of me booking so I had to drive, pay $140 for long term parking and almost missed my flight. Service is pathetic. Do not every rely on themEdit: since the owner can't tell time. My taxi was booked for 4.30 am the morning of Christmas eve. Flight was at 7am. Do u just call every negative review a scam then? Like I said, pathetic service. I'm including a photo of my boarding pass just so everyone else knows the owner is just calling all the negative reviews scams rather than deal with them. Just sadEdit#2: just got back and the owners only response is still calling me a scam and not being able to figure out that the day is still called new years eve" even when it's 4 in the morning on the 24th. I've added pictures of my receipt for jetset parking. I must be such a dedicated scammer (hood was open cuz I had to boost my car)"

I was in a bind and needed a taxi at the last minute, and Captain taxi came to the rescue. The driver was prompt and courteous, and made sure I arrived at my destination safely and efficiently. I am grateful for the excellent service I received and will definitely be using this company again in the future.

Haven't used them and likely won't now. How courteous are the drivers when they completely block an icy supper to go have supper? Over an hour taxi 143 was blocking the ENTIRE sidewalk on the 300 block of Fairlight Drive during the 6pm rush forcing people to walk into traffic to go around. Next time think I will walk over the cab instead and stay on the sidewalk.

Two canceled drivers. First one accepted, drove up to the airport, called, asked us to wait, and then later just canceled. Second one just canceled quick, which wouldn't be a problem on it's own. But not a great add on.The last driver that actually grabbed us was a good experience, as an aside. But given that I was giving this company a chance as a regular alternative, I doubt I will be doing so. The etas are very off which is a problem in planning, imo.Though, the ability to call your driver directly is an advantage.

The drivers are nice enough, but the dispatchers are often misleading. I don't fault the company for having such a small fleet. But when the dispatchers tell you they are sending you someone and then an hour and a half later after multiple recalls and more random time estimates that are false, no one ever came... Really unprofessional and frustrating. I will definitely call other cab companies before I ever call captain again.

Called today to ask about the rules for toddlers in taxis because we are going to the airport in a couple of days. I tried asking three times, and the person just kept trying to book my cab and didn't answer my question. Disappointed because I thought it was a simple question with a simple answer.Edit: after talking with a lady in SGI I found out that the child's parents guardian is responsible for making sure they are in a car seat, and if a taxi gets pulled over the parents or guardian the ticket goes to them along with 3 demerits.My 1 star review stands because the agent clearly didn't care since it's not their service that would get the ticket, but their customers.
