RONA Edmonton (Stony Plain Rd)

I had a negative experience with a customer service associate at Rona on Saturday at 7pm. Despite waiting for 15 minutes, I was not provided with a clear response when I inquired about the wait time. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of respect for my time, as well as the associate's rude behavior and seemingly discriminatory remarks. I believe that Rona does not condone such behavior, and it appears that this particular associate either requires additional training or personal growth. Unless appropriate action is taken regarding this associate (the one with a facial piercing), I have no intention of returning to this location.

Friendly helpful staff but just to simply get some water softener pellets is a literal 3 step process. You wait at customer service while they finish their random conversation to order them, then you have to go stand in line for the cashier even though there is a payment machine where you just ordered from, then you have to go sit and wait at the yard gate for someone to notice you to let you in and then you have to sign for it… these are simple $8 bags of salt… I won’t be back for salts that’s for sure. There is no reason for a half hour process to grab something so simple.

Awesome selection and amazing customer service, we went to buy tile. They did not have what we wanted here but lined us up with what we needed at a nearby Rona and the pick up was flawless the next day! Awesome experience.

I recently visited this RONA store to purchase a drill machine and some other DIY equipment for my first project, and I am incredibly impressed with the quality of service that I received. From start to finish, the staff members were knowledgeable, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with my purchases.Sandy was the first person I interacted with, and she was simply amazing. She took the time to ask me about my project and understand my needs, and then guided me through the store to pick out the most economical items for my specific requirements. Her knowledge of the products and her willingness to help me find the right tools was truly impressive, and I cannot thank her enough for her assistance.Later on, I had the pleasure of interacting with Garry, who gave me a quick 101 course on the drill machine that I had purchased. He patiently explained how it worked, answered all of my questions, and even provided some tips and tricks for using it effectively. His expertise and guidance were invaluable, and I left the store feeling confident and excited to start my project.Overall, I could not be more pleased with my experience at this hardware store. The staff members, especially Sandy and Garry, truly exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for high-quality tools and exceptional customer service. We had a wonderful experience here. They didn't have a mat that we wanted but they had a big Christmas decor sale and packaged up the floor model tree as it was the last one. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ok store for its size. They carry your typical construction items allowing you get almost every job done. Staff are friendly and helpful. The cramped space can be hard to navigate but it gets the job done. Commercial sales is especially helpful if you have an account.

Just went to this Rona today and it was an awful experience. Stopped in quickly to find a specific product the first lady I spoke with didn't offer much help just said aisle 20 back right corner. Then when I asked for help a second time a gentleman was nice enough to radio in for help but as soon as that help came he said sorry someone else stopped me first. Lastly when I went to check out there was a rude customer who interrupted my transaction to have a conversations with the clerk and the clerk started to help them before I was finished. Very unprofessional customer service

Bad experience with ordering the wood online. 60 percent of what I received was a scrap. Deformed lumbers, raw and heavy,with plenty of twigs. Taking an opportunity from the tough time they are trying to sell the worst first...my bad, I didn’t check it because I trusted their professionalism and honesty. Now I am reaping it, wasting my time to sort the good ones... instead of just to measure and cut..only trust yourself...thank you..
