Very impressed by the vegan options! I tried their gluten free vegan carrot cake today and it is absolutely amazing!! Will be back with friends for sure!

I've eaten in the cafe twice, and have always enjoyed my meal. The word fresh comes to mind when describing the food. Upstairs in the store, there is a good selection of local foods and produce. I was able to purchase some great apples.

I love this little cafe! They use the best ingredients in everything they make. Delicious, healthy, and beautifully presented. Best cappuccino anywhere! As well as traditional baking, they have vegan and gluten free. Sit outside at the picnic table or take your treats across the road to the park by the water. Oh, and real maple syrup, yes real, with your pancakes. They put the bottle on the table. Where else do you get that?

I frequent 3 coffee places in Barrie depending on what I'm looking for that day. The Local Food Market, BBC, and Unity Market are all great at different things.The Local Food Market has the best combo of work environment and food. The food is fresh, local, and usually quite good. The wifi is fast and rarely goes down. The coffee is better then a chain, though maybe not my favorite of the three.If you are interested in a working lunch (or simply just lunch) and want some high quality local food while you work, this is the place for you.
