Extremely rude staff, brought my puppy in who is very well behaved and has always been praised at new places he goes. The lady grooming him was not patient or welcoming at all said he was crazy and only going to get worse as he gets older? Didn’t cut his fur at all and charged $65 for a bath?!

Glad to have found Valerie again. Met Valerie almost 20 years ago when she groomed my Cesky Terrier and Kerry Blue Terrier both as show dogs. She is absolutely the best out there. We live in Toronto and will be making trips to Kitchener just to have my new little Cesky pup looking his very best. She is very gentle.

Valerie is an excellent groomer. She takes real good care of the dogs. She understands our needs perfectly. We always like her work. Will coming back again and again.

I had a recent visit with my young dog that I wanted to keep in a puppy trim. Valerie did a great job.He was calm and happy when he was returned to me.He left the salon looking like a show dog

Absolutely ludicrous service. We used to also go here because our dog loved Valerie, who was the groomer with Dogtopia. We took our dog in to get him groomed through the Pawsh Dog in March and got Cassie. I told her that our doodle (black) had some matting and that she could feel free to shave him if needed - she called an hour later to say that she couldn’t complete the grooming because brushing out the tangles would be “inhumane”. We should’ve brought our dog home then.Unfortunately, I told her that no, she didn’t have to detangle him — she could shave him if needed. Four hours later, she called to say he was ready for pickup. The haircut itself ended up being alright, but I noticed that when handed the debit/credit machine, the bill was significantly more than what we used to pay (it used to be around $130 with tax, and it was $170 this day). I was startled but figured it was inflation, and paid the bill.A couple of hours later, we noticed that our dog started yelping in pain whenever he moved. We took a closer look at him and saw blood. He’d been nicked in the grooming process and we were not informed of it. I went online to check his report card to see if we’d missed anything and again, nothing. However, we noticed that there was $40 added as a tip, which I did not enter myself. This explained the big increase in the “bill.”I have been in contact with customer service for over THREE MONTHS now. The initial “manager” passed me on to 2 other people, and it has been a month since they supposedly mailed us a cheque with a partial refund (we’ve gotten nothing in the mail).Long story short, never going here again, and if you care for your dog and want a good, decently priced grooming, I would recommend you go elsewhere.

Rude staff. I am not one to complain or even write a review on google but this place deserves it. Lied to my face about getting my dogs nails clipped and was extremely rude. For how much this place charge, I expected great service. Do NOT come, i’m 100% you can find a cheaper and more efficient spot.

My sister had gone to this location and Valerie the groomer was absolutely wonderful. We were really looking forward to working with her again. However she’s since moved from this location and so we were assigned a new groomer, Cassie. We had a terrible experience and we will not be back.We provided reference photos of what the groom should be, same as it’s always been. We also provided notes that our old groomer had given us to give to any new groomers. We even shared our old groomer’s instagram account as well as our own instagram account incase they needed more reference. We made sure to wait so that our dog’s hair is long enough for the groom. We worked hard to grow her hair and to keep it brushed and clean so that grooming can be easier.When we went for drop off, we were running late and was told we can’t get the groom anymore but they could fit her in later in the day. We appreciated this and were happy to bring her back later.When we went to pick her up, the groomer had removed WAY too much hair. She looks nothing like my sister’s dog or the reference photos. The groom took over 4 hours and it was more expensive than ever before.When we asked what happened, they said they didn’t know we didn’t want all the hair removed even though we provided reference photos and instructions. They also made it sound like it was our dog’s fault that they had to cut so much off.Our dog has been getting groomed for years with no issues. She can get a little anxious when trimming near the face but she has always come back looking great and the groomers only have good things to say about her overall behaviour. If they felt that she was too anxious to get her hair cut, they could’ve called us to let us know and we would’ve been fine rescheduling the cut for another time.What’s worse, the groomer didn’t bring her to the front until after we paid the full amount. We used to always see her first before being asked to pay.Attached are photos of her long fur before the groom, our reference photos(with the top knot and bow), and what she looks like now. The hair on her chest is also incredibly choppy now.

I loved the the way they groomed my fur babies. They did an amazing job. I recommend this place!

Valerie did a phenomenal grooming my puppy. I can’t say enough good things. I was quite apprehensive about bringing my dog to a Toronto groomer as they do not have much experience with rare breeds. I actually brought my puppy to a Toronto groomer for his first basic groom and was not happy at all. They did not know the confirmation groom the breed should have. Once I found Valerie, after a brief conversation her knowledge of all breeds really helped ease my anxieties. Could not have been happier with the result. My puppy loved her as well. Her love for dogs is quite obvious as we came to pick our pup up and she was playing with him. Will definitely be going back to her as far as I know she will be the only one who knows how to groom this breed.

Update: I was emailed by one of their staff after leaving my review here, offering a free groom for what happened if I changed my review to something positive; no thanks, not interested. Since then, I've had several members of their staff call and email me - for what? I've told them to remove me from their list and never contact me again, but for some reason they keep contacting me. I don't know who's running this business, but they are doing a terrible job..The people at this place have no idea what they are doing. First they tried to tell me the dates on the vaccine stickers are the dates they expire. THEN, they were trying to tell me the dates my dogs vaccines were given are they date they expire! My dog's vaccinations don't expire until next year. I left with my dog without service. WHAT A JOKE for people who deal with dogs professionally. (Kitchener location)
