Good Lands Café
I ate dinner at Good Lands Cafe for the first time in June 2022 and it definitely won’t be my last time here!Good Lands is an all vegan, Middle Eastern inspired cafe with gluten free options (three bowls) and the food was incredible. It’s a simple and casual place with seating inside. The owner was friendly and welcoming and he cooked everything from scratch.I ordered the Medley Bowl, which had spiced eggplant, falafel, Lima beans, spiced lentils, on a bed of lettuce with tomatoes and pickled cabbage, and topped with various sauces. The flavours were so unique and tasty! Plus, you can’t beat those prices. Where else can you get a satisfying home cooked meal for $10?!I can’t wait to eat here again and would recommend to anyone looking for amazing Middle Eastern food!

Wow what a delicious meal. We ordered the falafel wrap, salad medley, pita & humus platter, and baklava for dessert. What can I say? Everything was so fresh and delicious and the hand made falafel and humus are the best I've ever had. Wish he sold the humus and falafel so I could take some home! Baklava was also very tasty and not too sweet - the pastry is nice and flaky and the filing is rich and flavourful.Restaurant inside is cute. Owner is amiable and very nice to talk to.And what incredible value for money. You get a lot of food for the cost, and it is all so fresh and flavourful.

I went to Good Lands Cafe to see their Open Mic night with local musicians and artists. It is a small and charming Cafe with a very welcoming atmosphere. The small but robust vegan menu is enticing. I had an absolutely delicious Falafel wrap with home fries which was worth going back for! Definately recommend supporting this local gem and checking out the Live Mic events.

Good Lands Cafe's falafel wrap and fries are seriously amazing! The falafel is crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The wrap is loaded with fresh veggies and drizzled with creamy tahini sauce. And let's not forget about the fries, they're golden, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The portion sizes are generous, so you'll leave satisfied. The overall experience is top-notch, with friendly service and a cozy vibe. Don't miss out on this deliciousness!

Food was delicious and 100% vegan (I have an egg allergy so I'm so happy I don't have to worry about that). The baklava was the cherry on top. Also super cheap! The owner is a very sweet man, we will come back for sure!

What a gem of a restaurant!Do NOT judge this place by it’s exterior, size, or neighbourhood. When you walk in, you’ll be greeted by a kind and gentle man. We immediately felt the soulful energy that radiates throughout. Thoughtfully created, all plant based dishes, local talented artists’ works on the walls and a friendly owner make this a must stop. The owner purposefully keeps the menu short and focussed. He offers us middle eastern wraps or bowls made with fresh, high quality ingredients. He makes everything himself. Don’t go if you’re in a hurry (maybe call ahead in that case so that your food is ready for you when you get there). Good Lands Cafe is meant to be enjoyed slowly, intentionally, allowing you to breath, relax and connect with other human beings. Our souls felt uplifted and encouraged. Our bodies felt nourished. Our hearts are happy. Do yourself a favour and visit Good Lands Cafe.

A quiet and calm atmosphere to have a nice lunch. Very delicious falafel served with a simple salad and some amazing house made sauces! Potatoes were cooked and seasoned to perfection with another great garlicky sauce paired with them. The gentleman who I imagine is the owner was very gentle, friendly and accommodating. Very reasonably priced, $10 will get you satisfied! Would absolutely recommend!

Tasty delicious vegan Middle Eastern food served by a very friendly owner in Central Winnipeg. What is not to love? Tried this cozy cafe with some friends of mine today and it was a great experience. Excellent food in a friendly atmosphere reasonable prices. I tried the eggplant wrap, but I think I probably need to go back for some falafel soon. Picture is of my friend's gluten-free, vegan, falafel bowl.
