Great selection of beers with our favourites being BC, Wrath and Blonde. Great hospitality with bonus of food truck and patio in the saloon. Camped for the night on the St. John's River. Awesome!

I visited this location as a group of 4. We entered the location and it was absolutely beautiful, the inside is amazing, bathrooms were so clean.We ordered our drinks/food but unfortunately we had to wait over 40 minutes to receive the food.One of our drinks was also delivered to the wrong table and place right underneath someone’s face.Of course I understand kitchens can get busy and especially with so many orders things can be confusing sometimes.We ordered nachos and french fries. We got our nachos first then the french fries didn’t come out for another 10 minutes which they were for my child and he had to watch while some of us ate the food.We also noticed people that ordered after us received an order of fries before we did.Nothing made sense and we were really looking forward to visiting this location.Very unfortunate and we are unsure if we will return in the future.One of the staff members was very polite and apologized about the wait.

This is the one brewery I wish I was close to. The building itself is gorgeous. The view adjacent to the lake is awesome. The acoustics are great which is an often overlooked aspect of Brew pubs. The folks running it and serving are delightfully personable. The product itself is excellent - very well done, unique without being overly experimental. Five easy stars.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Big Axe Brewery in June 2023. Pete, Krystle, and the rest of the staff went absolutely above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure things went as planned. They met with us frequently before the event and worked with us to brainstorm ideas. All of our guests were so impressed with the venue (along the Woolatoq River!) We had amazing pictures inside the brewery with all the tanks inside the gorgeous wooden building. And despite the rain, Big Axe made the pictures, the songs, the dances for the bride and groom - it all worked. they made sure we had the best day and they were exceptional in working with us to make everything work smoothly. Even when we were caught us talking to a great aunt, they would just worked with the people around us and never made us feel troubled! I can't recommend them enough for your wedding day.

I was visiting family in Nackawic last week and this brewery was on my must do list. It did not disappoint!! Wonderful informative staff. I tried a flight of beers plus a few samples. Great selection of creative brews and cider’s. I settled with the Lizzie Borden and enjoyed with nachos and wings. I highly recommend this brewery if you’re travelling to this region of NB and a special shout out to our hostess Shannon!!

Stopped in as a Harvest Host Member. We were immediately impressed as we approached to see the space and the layout for the trailers. The staff and atmosphere were super friendly and clean. We had chicken wings and pizza along with a few great cold beer. Everything was delicious. Merch was good quality and reasonably priced; I bought a hat.

Lovely conversation with the staff. Great selection of tasty beverages. Even had some solid suicide wings. I will definitely be back. Recommend the stouts and sour for sure.

Stopped here last summer during a road trip.Great drinks, love the little picnic table drink holders, great view from the deck, beautiful location. Met some other lovely road tripping customers as well, greater clientele.

Big Axe Brewery
Enjoyed the delicious pizzas they are now offering at Big Axe! I had a veggie , my husband had the meat lovers and we were both impressed with them. Fast, friendly service, a beautiful log building, a view of the ice flows still plugging the river, lots of local beer to choose from. Date night in Nackawick at Big Axe Brewary went very well and we will be back soon.
