Way too crowded - everywhere. It’s usually impossible to get a parking spot, the hallways are tight and people are always bumping into each other. There are about 12 spots to sit for each rink, and with 25 or so kids playing, their parents, relatives and siblings, it’s unusual be be able to sit to watch, meaning you’ll be standing in the cold, getting bumped by sticks and bags of people going to/from change rooms.

I have been taking my son here for the past 3 years amazing place. They helped my son with learning how to skate from his first time to skating better than me hehe

We're new to Barrie from Alberta. This is my son's first year but third program at NTR. They have amazing programs for kids for all skill levels. Staff are amazing, and the facility is clean. I appreciate the upstairs viewing area that allows me to watch my kids on the ice and my kids off the ice in a warm place. It's a nice environment they've created there.

Instructor Zac. Did some work with Barrie colts AAA development. Felt it was appropriate to publicly shame a kid in front of his teams mates. Team mates teased him with Zac’s words for weeks. Development ??? Will forever refuse Zac’s programs at NTR Barrie.

The training and coaching my son received here improved his shot and shot accuracy in what felt like overnight. The staff are so helpful. Will be looking at other training sessions here.

The staff are great with little kids. It's so nice to see young people teaching kids setting they love. My daughter has learned so much.

Zach and his assistants provide a comprehensive program that helps the kids develop proper skating and puck handling drills so the kids can achieve their goals in becoming competitive hockey players.
