Gold's Gym Calgary Northgate

I had a great experience at Gold's Gym thanks to Harsh's excellent customer service. He greeted me warmly and took the time to explain everything I needed to know to get started. Highly recommend!

The front desk staff was very friendly on Labor Day. My regular gym was closed so they let me work out as long as I spread the good word ,and trust me Gold's Gym always has been the best gym in the world and this particular location is no different ! very very clean ,friendly ,very roomy, lots of space to work out! thank you again ! I will be joining soon

Gloria helped get me set up with a membership. She was so friendly and took such great care of me. I always see her taking the time to chat with many different members. One of the many reasons I like going to this gym is to see her and say hi.

Harsh at Gold's Gym in Calgary was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away. He took the time to explain everything I needed to know and answered all of my questions. Overall, he made my visit to the gym a great experience.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM!!After leaving golds gym and paying $900 to collections that they told me I owed them, I was glad to finally be done with this gym. Such a scam, hidden fee’s, customer service is not helpful. Literally the first option when you call the gym is “collections”, which should have been my first red flag. A year after I paid my collections from Golds Gym, I received an email today saying I owe ANOTHER $700 to the gym. I don’t even have a membership with them anymore and have paid my outstanding balance. I called them today and of course right after they sent me this email they were off for the weekend so now I have to wait to contact them to have them fix this mistake.SUCH A SCAM! There are so many amazing gyms around the area, DO NOT go to this one!!

I really loved this gym, until things went sideways. Could be improved with good management.I joined the gym in July 2021 and went 4-8 times a week. I started having issues in November 2021. I updated payment information with the front desk and it wasn't successful. I was charged fees for four payment cycles because of it. I brought my issues up to management and was told that my annual up keep fee could be waived, or they would credit my account for the amount of the overages. I was told the manager had to talk to accounting and he'd get back to me. Tim then left the gym and my problem was resolved.Fast forward to June 2022. I go to bring a guest as outlined I am entitled to in my contract. I am refused, and told they stopped allowing that during covid and she MUST sign up for a membership. I signed my contract after covid restrictions were lifted and this retraction was never mentioned.So I asked to cancel my contract ,well that didn't go through either, a manager never contacted me, and to leave a gym I didn't even want to leave cost me $400.

I live far south and come to this gym for the staff!!! Maria is amazing with the kids and it’s awesome having incredible childcare while you train for a couple hours a day. The kids adore her and it makes it easy to convince them to come along!!! She makes the gym a home away from home for them!

One of the best gym in the Calgary. Started here few months ago. Signed up by Gloria one of the best sales person she gave me tour explained me all about the gym floor area. She always greets you with smile. This gym have best equipment in the world. Also have kids club and basket ball court too. And so many group fitness classes. I will recommend this gym to all my friends and family.
