Gatineau Kia

The engine of my 2011 Forte 5 was knocking and getting increasingly worse at only 130K kms. The typical thinking is ''I'm going to have to fight for this'' but this was not the case at all ... Long story short, the ''short block'' of the engine was replaced after a camera scope test revealed scuffing in the cylinders that was already known as a problem for this model of engine & year. The work was done in 1.5 days and was covered by KIA .... I couldn't be happier!! The service I got from advisors Marc Desjardins & Patrick Dubois was first class. Well done guys. Often times it seems that only bad experiences get mentioned but the good ones should be highlighted as well :)

WOMEN do not come here, all male environment, they treat women like airheads.Put a deposit on a used car and set an appointment to pick up said car a few days later. Within the waiting period, I'd communicated with the dealership three times before they allowed me to come in, all the while, knowing that the owner of the dealership sold my car, regardless of my deposit. Not once did they feel the need to tell me before wasting my time and allowing me to make the trip there, knowing I didn't have a car to get around in. Alex and Pierre then tried to bait and switch me with a new 2023 car out of my budget and price range while giving vague pricing details that made it seem like it was in my price range when it definitely was not. The most insulting of my attempted transaction? The first and only 'spec' I was given of this new car was its colour. Surprisingly, that's not the only detail women need to know with such an investment.

Upon arrival at the dealership, I was taken aback by the salesperson's lack of hospitality.Despite my presence, I was not even offered a seat, and the salesperson appeared frigid as an ice blocks of Antarctica while extending her services.Her negative attitude towards my queries was quite apparent, and she seemed disinterested in my patronage.Overall, my experience with their sales team left me unimpressed, and I regret to say that they have lost a potential customer and will not receive any referrals from me or my loved ones.

Not an honest dealership. Normally annulations of orders, go to the next client on the list, but here they try to sell it off waiting list, forcing clients to buy all the add ons, thus selling indirectly over MSRP

The service department is horrible! Overcharges from things they didn't, don't do what they were supposed to do and now book me in a month for something that needs fixing now. Not like brakes are important or anything. If you need something done under warranty then you have to go here but if you have another option, go somewhere else. They try every way possible to not pass it under warranty. Too bad because KIA is an awesome product. Just a very bad service department in Gatineau.

I purchased my Forte in 2010 from Promenade Kia. The service there was questionable. The dealer has since moved and has become Gatineau Kia.I have only used them about 1/2 a dozen times. Twice for service. Once for the bodyshop. 4 times for parts. I always received top-notch friendly knowledgeable service from the staff there. Highly recommended.I will be back. Considering my forte has 322,000km and running strong but I will consider them when it comes time to change.

Kia gatineau… 1 word: RUN. Worst service ever received.Too long to describe all the issues we had! Already wasted enough of our time. Best advice: go somewhere else! Terrible service, lacks communication between all departments, not customer oriented after the sale, not reliable at all… in the end, it took over 15 days to get the car and everything sorted out. Very disappointed!

Not a very good service. They are not at all client service oriented. I went in August 2022 to put a deposit down for an EV6, which I knew had a 2 year wait. A salesman approached me, took my name down, filled a sheet a took my $500 deposit to bring it to the director. 8 months later, April 2023.. no news, no updates from Kia Gatineau. I happened to go to the Electric car show in Gatineau that month, I see an EV6, exactly the one I wanted and colour. I start taking to the sales rep who informs me that the car is available to be sold, but as a used car .. it only had 25km on it .. but apparently the client bought it and resold it the same day to the dealer making $$ of profit and taking the subsidies and now the dealer is reselling it as a used car and the car would not be eligible for the EV subsidy instead of returning the car to Kia Canada for another client .. I started telling the sales guy that this is illegal in Quebec and he walks away … a week later, I walk in to the dealer asking for my refund .. had to wait 45 minutes before actually someone came to see me ( the dealership was empty , not busy).. finally someone came, took my initial receipt and processed it through my credit card.. no questions, not even why, not even my file .. very shady dealership

The service of this dealership is beyond my expectations. Especially, I was very impressed by how comforting they treat their customers. I had an amazing experience with Valerie, she took care of all my needs and provide assistance with detailed to all my questions.I highly recommend this dealership to buy any Kia model in the town or if you are in Ottawa also. Because, I came from Ottawa.

I paid their mechanics a bunch of money for them not to properly diagnose my car. I brought in a 2014 forte gdi that was burning oil and the clueless mechanics that specialize in direct injection Kia engines apparently couldn't figure out what was wrong. They also refused to test drive my car to diagnose any issues, which is how they missed one of the knuckles on my wheels is damaged and needs to be replaced as it was making a bunch of noise. My car was with you guys for half a week, seriously how did you miss something that obvious? Meanwhile I take it to my friends shop for half a day, and he diagnoses my engine in less then a half hour and realizes the intake just need to be cleaned. After his half-day of work he completely fixes all the issues with my car and I've had no problems since. My mechanic friend was very confused why you guys had such a problem fixing these issues yourself. I'm seriously convinced i paid you guys a bunch of money to pretend to do work on my vehicle. You guys should honestly be embarrassed.
