I had a snowblower that refused to start and Jim was able to take the machine in right away and get it back to me in excellent condition the next morning. His price was fair, and his colleague and him were very kind. Great work gentlemen!

After having done a great job in servicing my snowblower last year, I took my lawnmower to Jim's Small Engine Repair when it wouldn't start a couple of weeks ago. Jim was able to do the service same day. I live in Oakville and have a few repair shops close by, but they all said it would take 3 weeks to get done, and the price was significantly more than what Jim charges. Jim did a full service, changed spark plug, cleaned the carburator, changed the air filter, sharpened and balanced the blade..and it runs like a dream now. Jim does a great job and provides excellent service at a very fair price. The fact that I travel from Oakville to his location near the Toronto airport speaks for itself.

I sent in my snow blower in this morning. Jim is good manner and friendly. Regardless of what the repair will be, I'm happy to meet people like Jim. He was a pleasure to work with. he was honest and included the diagnosis. Regardless, I told him for a tune up, which was reasonable price compared to the competitors, who if you read their reviews, had poor manners. Even if it costs a few more dollars its worth my time to have a relationship with Jim and his good manners than to try to save a few bucks which may end up costing me more later on...

I brought in my lawn mower today to have the cutting blade replaced as the nut was too difficult to remove. Excellent 1 day turnaround on Spring service to my Toro lawnmower. Price very reasonable. Pleasant and receptive. Discovered this business after feeling ignored by well known tool and repair business that I've dealt with for past 6-7 years. Jim's is a small business that deserves support.

Highly recommend.My snowblower was not starting so I called a technician to diagnose the issue. After spending hours, the technician did not find the problem. Called other repair shops but was told that the snowblower was junk and could not be repaired. Mind you, the snowblower was at most 3-4 years old and not cheap.Took the snowblower to Jim's shop and he said that he would take a look at it and I could get it as early as the next day. True to his word, Jim called the next morning informing me that the snowblower was fixed and ready to be picked up. He broke down exactly what he did to fix the issue as well as offer advice on proper maintenance of the equipment. He is knowledgeable, honest and charges a fair price for his work. I would highly recommend giving him a shot.
