I had my eyes surgery done 10 years ago by Dr. Yu. I was told right in the beginning the surgery would be done in Maple Ridge. The work was done perfect. No pain and fast. The only complaint was he had too many patients.

Office in Burnaby but cataract surgery performed in Maple Ridge Hospital. He should not deceive patients living in Burnaby to think they will have the cataract surgeries at Burnaby General Hospital instead having to go 60km to Maple Ridge Hospital. Very dishonest!

Dr Yu is fine. The office is PACKED with people waiting in several rooms. No cleaning of equipment seen. Sometimes language barriers exhibited. It feels less like careful attention as an office trying to bill as much as they can thru the province. Verify ummm inelegant. Its fast food eye care.

Dr Yu and his staff were very professional, friendly and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend Dr Yu. After a bad motorcycle accident his treatment is the only thing that's given me some pain relief.
