I don't really understand the hubbub about this place.The chicken tastes ok, nice and crunchy, but very greasy. Skin had a decent flavour to it, but the chicken itself was bland. Wedges were also bland. No crunch, room temperature, would not pay for them again. Coleslaw is average, grocery store variety slaw. Once again, bland, took about 3 bites and put the lid back on.If I were to go back, I would only order the chicken pieces... To be honest, I'll probably skip it altogether and hit Sushi Story just a few doors down.Surprised this place gets this high of a rating in a foodie" city like Victoria..."

I normally do any review but it was a terrible suggestion from my friend. The chicken was so dry and I got 3 mini wings & one tight. Can’t barely remove the chickens from the wings because how dry it was. The gravy and the wedges were okay….The 8$ Prime hydration drink was the only thing I appreciated on that 30$ meal.

I'm so unhappy with my order. I opened up my gravy and dunked a wedge into it. First thing I noticed was how thin and watery it was. I took a bite and I tasted...nothing! Lacked any kind of flavour, entirely. The wedge had a little spice to it, but it was really overcooked to the point that I thought I was eating deep-fried mashed potatoes. No cohesiveness at all.Now the chicken. Again, no flavour at all. But the biggest turn-off was the incredible amount of grease that rolled down my hand and arm when I gripped a piece to pull it apart.I can't figure out what the big deal is with this place? It's TERRIBLE food.Sorry, Chester, no good review here :(

We ordered through skip the dishes and they forgot half our order. They admitted on the phone that our order was still at the restaurant and refused to help us after we waited an hour for our food. For $100 I was at least expecting to have my entire meal delivered. The man we spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful.

I was greeted by a really friendly gentleman who turned out to be the manager. I asked for recommendations on what I should try and he was very knowledgeable, kind and sincere. I can’t remember his first name, but I know it starts with an N and he and his family have moved to Canada from India a few years ago. The chicken was delicious, as were the potato wedges. Very tasty! And I will be back! Highly recommend!

Capone's Is now closed in Esquimalt and has moved to View St downtown.It's about middle of the road quality. Years ago this chicken was sold across the street at the corner store where the Pizza Hut is now, it was middle of the road then as well.The guy that runs the place is nice, but his prices are out to lunch. BUT it makes sense being currently he is the only one working there. Hopefully he finds some staff to help out. We won't be returning here. Not with Lee's / Mary Browns / Chicken on the Run all within 2 blocks.

Capone's Chicken has always been hot and juicy, they have good quality fresh chicken, it's great to have some options for fried chicken in the greater Victoria area definitely recommend this.

Capone's Chicken
Capone's chicken is delicious, the quality is consistently high, and the owner is very kind. I've never had a bad experience there. If you call ahead to order for pickup they will even make your order fresh so you don't get chicken that's been sitting under heat lamps.
