Not having much knowledge in law I tried to find some help with this company as I had previously used them to buy my home and had an ok experience. I called to have some legal paperwork drawn up and asked how much all of it would cost me. They sent me an email saying it would be 250$ and so I went with them as they were close to home and this was a time sensitive matter, as I mentioned this to them several times. When came the time to almost finalize everything it cost me over 1,000$ ! Never had they explained all the extra fees and needing the paperwork hastily I paid and was told that I would get a call as soon as everything was ready to go so I could come pick it up. They never gave me a call, I had to call them, leave a voicemail, saying I was still waiting on this paperwork to finalize other plans in my life, only to learn upon their callback that they had been sitting on my paperwork and it was on their To-do list. I was then told it got shipped and so now i'm stuck waiting for the paperwork in the mail while I could have simply taken a 10min detour from work days ago and had it in my hands.With the amount of money I paid for my service I would have hoped for alot more. I will not be using these lawyers again, and recommend that anyone using them and is actually concerned about how much they are paying ask them to be very clear about the fees. I was left feeling like an idiot, as if I should have known or expected to pay that much. And maybe so, maybe I should have done more research, but I figured a lawyer would be more then qualified to give me answers.I was very disappointed and hope no one has to go through this.

I can’t recommend this office enough, we were selling a property in another city and they handled everything amazingly for us, very knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely use their services again.

Absolutely terrible office, zero regard for a child's wellbeing. Samantha Huculak is very fond of shorting the opposing party documents and helping alienate a parent. Steer clear of this scummy firm. Much more professional ones out there

Samantha Hucalak is not, by any means helping this firm. Her unprofessional tactics to get ahead is noticed, by many clients, and in fact recognized for unprofessionalism within the courts. Inexperience, willingness to make false claims in the best interest of her clients is clearly recognized. Ms. Hucalaks poor decision making in regards to family matters NEEDS to be addressed to the firm, before she takes them under. 100% not qualified to represent the firm as she’s claiming

I will never use this law firm again. I bought a house from people you would classify as hoarders. So, my realtor included a clause that if any possessions were left in the house after possession I would receive $1000 to pay to get a bin and have the possessions removed. (The lawyer knew that when I spoke to him about hiring him for this deal) Not only were they still occupying the house when I received the keys they still had possessions in the house. They promised to be out the next day and their solution was to move everything into the yard (see attached photos) where they left everything as well as an oversized double garage full to the ceiling of stuff... Here comes my issue with this law firm. When it came time to releasing those funds to me, which I feel is a very cut and dry issue since the possessions were still in the house along with the previous owners at the time that I took possession of the house, they didn't. The previous owners gave some sob story and this law firm's lawyer's assistant said something along the lines of 'well, the possessions were moved from the house' which gave the previous owners more ammo to not sign over the money and just dig their heels in. When told this I asked my lawyer who they were fighting for and his response was to drop me as a client. I was told if I wanted the money I would have to take them to small claims court and I was not going to get any more help nor any legal advice on how to proceed in starting a claim...Fine. So, I took things into my own hands. I told the previous owner's realtor that I was starting the process and on top of small claims court I was going to be reporting him to RECA for not honoring the intent of a contract. Next thing you know they were releasing the funds the next morning. When I went to pick up my cheque at the lawyer's office, to my surprise, half of it was missing. When I asked about it they said they kept it as extra fees for going above and beyond" in getting me this money. If they would have left it at dropping me as a client and keeping the fees I paid that was already agreed upon

Not only have I used Putnam Law services in the past, I am very grateful for the generosity and support that this locally owned business contributed to our daughters school trip to Quebec and Ottawa. We appreciate all the support you showed the 2023 Fire Bird Flight Club! Thank you

Friendly and knowledgeable staff that go above and beyond. Have used Putnam Law numerous times (wills, real estate) and it's always professional. Also extremely easy to get ahold of someone which can be difficult these days. Definitely recommend!
