Toronto Generators is absolutely amazing. If I was able to give them a 10 star rating I would not hesitate to do so. They were hired to install a Generac 22kw (entire house) natural gas powered generator. The whole process which is very involved was executed with amazing precision and attention to detail. The experienced installers were meticulous and the way the gas lines and electrical lines were run at the side of the house is just incredible. Steve and Michelle are absolutely committed to excellent customer service and managed and communicated all the steps of the installation brilliantly. The techs that come out to do the start up after the installation explained everything perfectly and with great detail and kindness. This is exactly the type of business that should be hired to take on tasks of this magnitude. Congratulations Toronto Generators for being outstanding! I highly recommend this company.

When we were having issues with our generator they came quickly even though outside their normal business hours (on the weekend). Steve Day is very responsive and quick with customer service. Would definitely recommend their service.

We live in Northern Ontario, on the lake in the woods and a backup power supply is an important safety issue for us. Toronto Generators is an excellent company to deal with. The entire staff, from Stephanie in the office, to the guys who delivered the generator, to Steve the electrician, to Tim who did the final hook up, to Steve Day who is the owner, all were professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend this company to anyone considering a generator.

Do NOT supply your credit card in advance of a service. They are not returning my calls or emails and I am disgusted with their unprofessional non response. The simple fact is they commissioned my generator a year ago. It never worked. So i agreed to book a service saying it is NOT working and supplied my credit card. They sent a resource out who clearly was inexperienced as the generator emailed the next day saying it was still not working. Toronto Generators were all apologetic and told me no probs, we will get it sorted...They sent out another person who worked out what they did wrong and now they are charging me for both visits. In the end because i tried to hold them accountable for this poor service, they decided they no longer wanted me as a customer but had no problems charging my credit card for excessive amounts that were not approved. INSANE.

Extremely smooth and efficient installation. Edward was terrific as he set up the unit, got it on wifi, and showed me how it works. Very pleased with the service.

Living in Muskoka where when the breeze blows, the hydro goes out. Having a stand-alone generator for those times of need was good, but this will definitely make our lives easier! The service we received from everyone from the office staff to the installers was awesome! Thank you!

Lisa, this is unfortunately not what happened.Your people installed the generator, who were your contractors that were not familiar with generators. On the first visit the generator was not connected properly, we instructed what needed to be changed. The second visit the generator was still not connected properly and when we told you, you wanted us to “just fix it”, and you yelled at my tech so much he walked away. This was not our issue, but it was definitely our time, hence chargeable.We were totally up front about charges, and requirements. I didn't say we wouldn't service your machine, what I did say was if you yelled at the techs in this manner we would not come back.Thank You.

I’m not a fan. We were having an issue with our Generac backup system not starting. (Once in the dead of winter when there was an outage for a couple of days and we were away). Toronto Generators have been here several times to fix it, and each time they, ‘found the problem’ and ‘fixed it’. Well, no…a few months later we would have the same problem, they would ‘find the problem’ then ‘fix it’, only for the same thing to happen again… charging us full service each time. The latest was the worst; they replaced several ($$$) parts that were really ‘the real issue’, only to have the same problem a month later. They wanted me to pay $150 for them to come and take a look… huh??? No thanks. No more Generac and no more Toronto Generators for me.

I have been working for Steve for a year now and I must say this is the best Boss to work for. The work environment is positive and he appreciates hard work and dedication. He is not only the boss he is a hard worker!He will stand in the rain and hold an umbrella for his technicians to complete work. He has passion and a heart of gold.Toronto Generators is very strict with following the rules and regulations. All generators must be inspected by the ESA (Electrical Safety Authority) and pass with a certificate that the generator was installed properly and up to code. He has both Gas Fitters and Electricians and there work is FANTASTIC!I am blessed to have found Toronto Generators and proud to be on this winning team.

I've been dealing with this company for a number fo years and always impressed with the level of service. Recently our generator went out prior to a potential storm and even though I called in the evening someone arrivedin minutes to address our issue. Highly recommend!
