Fun place to stay when visiting Montreal

Arrived in Montreal after a long drive, we could not find parking and the owner did not reply to any of our messages. We ended up parking at the hospital (you can only park on weekends). Walked to our place and once in our room it was dirty, and the other guests were smoking cigarettes in the building and blasting bass music until 5am. The bed was hard as a rock with dirty sheets . One tiny washroom to share between 10 other guests. No mirror in the bathroom. Just a bad experience.

Amazing hostel in the heart of the old port, very clean and spacious room, cant beat the price for that location

I could not go lower than 1 star unfortunately. My door was broken and could not be locked. I ended up not staying there and going to a hotel instead. The owner hasn’t responded to my messages to this day (1 month later) The place is like a big appartement with shared spaces. There was construction materials everywhere, nails on the floor, garbage bag were use to hide stuff on the walls. The room is nothing like the pictures.Do not go there! Even tho it is the cheapest place to rent in the area it is not worth it

Room 17, blood on the pillows, bed isnt made, trash is full... reeks of cigarets.Difficulties finding the room or the appartment

First of all the owner never responds to messages... (so 0 comunication) As soon as we saw the comments in booking, airbnb, google, etc) we knew that we wanted to cancel the reservation. since we made it on January 17 (and we have enough time to cancel it), we contacted him a thousand times by all possible means (booking, emails, calls, airbnb, etc) and he never answered. Seeing that he did not want to cancel the reservation we decided to give him a chance and this was our worst mistake. When we got there we found an open, dirty and stinky room. With a GUM STUCK ON THE HEADBOARD. Apart from that, the room had a box at the entrance where the keys should be, or surprise, there were no keys. 6PM in Montreal calling booking to ask for a solution, because it's obvious that no one is going to sleep in an unsafe place where you can't close the door of your room or let alone your belongings alone inside. Booking could not locate the owner and the only solution he gave us was to leave him a review at the end of our stay. If you want to be robbed like us (270 euros) and end up with no place to sleep in this city, you know where to go... (irony) Without a doubt, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ACCOMMODATION EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY. What's more.. if it happens to you to stay here please don't do it run away! there are many better options in Montreal, here they will only rob you and make you feel stupid because nobody is going to solve anything for you or return any money. THANK YOU FOR RUIN OUR HOLIDAY.

Other than the other reviews might show, this place is truly a hidden gem! Since last month (May 2023) it has been renovated and all the rooms and most bathrooms have been renewed. Rooms are spacious , beds are good and the daily cleaning service is perfect.Also the location is great, right at the border of the old center of Montréal. Some rooms have a great view over the old city.I stayed here 4 nights and it was just beautiful.

I had a problem, I tried to get in contact with them about it and so tried the service website I booked it through. Advertised is a reply within 24 hour. I got nothing except now a message saying thank you staying with us. Which I couldn't, I had mixed up the dates, and wanted to change exactly that. On my reply that I did not stay there because nobody helped me solve my problem, they canceled the booking now. No sorry for mistreatment, nothing. I will never stay there ever. Be very careful chosing this guys for accomodation!

Their is nobody to help. After that place was dirty and under construction front of the rooms.
