With victorian and vintage style and decor. true to being a speakeasy, The Basement is such a great addition to the cities indie, underground and private-public places.The vibes are great, the staff is amazing and its a really cool spot. The have the right idea to start with comedy specials and it can be such a great place for that scene as well as can get up to be a cool performance space for burlesque type events and dress up events.Look forward to being here more.

Found this Speakeasy through Instagram. A very unique experience. They have comedy nights, burlesque shows, live music, and more. We had front row seats for a Comedy show, it was a blast. Cocktails and food were delicious. HIGHly recommend trying the Ginger Martini and Chicken Fajitas. HIGHly recommend this place.

This is the only speakeasy in Winnipeg to my knowledge. Free pool, live jazz, killer vintage furniture. Love this spot. Wish it were downtown. Definitely worth the drive.
