What a great team here at Links Rd. Animal, Bird and Lizard clinic. Unfortunately, It was a tough visit to the clinic last week as we had to put down our little friend. The team helped us through it with their knowledge, patience and kindness. Thank you for making the process a little easier. This is the best place to take your little friends, when they need care. We will definitely be back with our next little friend.

If you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring, kind, patient, and down to earth vet to care for your bird, I would highly recommend Dr. Nur. We had a great experience with her at our most recent wellness exam for our senior lovebird.

Amazing place. They put great care every time I brought my gerbil in. When I had to put her down they were very supportive of me. I am glad they made Blondie’s end-of-life care as painless as possible ❤️

I brought my bunny here for the RHD vaccine and got her spayed in February. I was really worried to get her spayed since she’s almost 4, but she recovered smoothly. They called me right away after her surgery and took great care of her overnight. They also offered help over email after I took her home. She’s healed beautifully, and I’m very grateful to the staff for the care that she received. The prices here are also pretty reasonable compared to other exotic vets, and the quality of care is exceptional, so I will definitely be bringing my bunny here in the future!

Dr. Evan is by far the best specialist we have seen and has made every experience so effective and comforting. Compassionate and knowledgeable. He really cares about rabbits and Max and I are so grateful!Cost is also a big factor in any veterinary considerations and Links Road is the most reasonable exotics specialist hospital in the area. I really appreciate the professionalism and the prioritization of animal health over revenue.

I like and trust the doctors at this place. We've been taking our 18 year old quaker parrot to this office for the last couple of years. Two months ago our parrot was limping and we took her there for an examination. She received excellent service and attention. We had to take her again last month too for an emergency because she started limping and twitching her left wing. The Doctor examined her and prescribed her some medicine which has helped her recover and now she is doing much better. Thank you Link Road staff for being there for our bird when she needed you!

I do not recommend this place for avian care. My baby bird was badly bruised after receiving blood work and this clinic did not take any accountability. Apparently, she was “resisting” so they were unable to extract blood the traditional way. Irrespective of the circumstances, it is clear that they used excessive force.

Dr. Rick Axelson was incredible! Finally-a small animal veterinarian that actually knows his stuff! Normally, when I’ve taken my hamster to the vet, I’m constantly worried that the vet and/or the vet tech is going to drop my hamster because they appear to get flustered while scruffing her. Dr. Axelson picked her up confidently and proceeded to tell me useful information about hamsters in an equally confident manner. Furthermore, he was kind/had a stellar bedside manner and was clearly extremely knowledgeable about hamsters!I had such an excellent experience at the Links Road Animal Hospital today thanks to Dr. Axelson, as well as his friendly team of vet techs and administrative assistants that provided outstanding customer service. I felt respected as a client/Pet-Mom, and comfortable because I knew that my hamster was in good hands-literally and figuratively.I would highly recommend the Links Road Animal Hospital to anyone that owns an exotic pet and/or small animal because I had such a positive experience there! Dr. Axelson not only knows his stuff, but he’s compassionate to animals and humans alike.5 out of 5 stars!!

Very grateful this exotic vet clinic exists! There are not a lot of vet care options for my rabbit. The vet I did go to ghosted and they haven't replaced him at the location. The new place closest to my house is uber expensive. Feels like price gouging because they know rabbit owners don't have a lot of options. So, when I discovered Links, well, I go back to being grateful.Links specializes in exotic pets ONLY. And, they don't price gouge, at least not in my opinion. I had my bunny spayed here for 1/3 the price the vet near me quoted. Links even offers a complementary post-surgery appt so they can check the wound... No fee for this at all.I haven't needed it, but I see on their site that they offer emergency services too. That's comforting because yrs ago a bunny of mine got fly strike... Definitely an emergency situation. It's comforting to have options when you own a pet that is unique and can't get care just anywhere.
