Friendly staff, good ambiance,

I always enjoy the centre.Its activities are fabulous...

I've attended several events here and they are always fantastic. Food is very good, facilities are great with all areas being very accessible and having lots of natural light. Very easy to get to and lots of parking. Staff is courteous, professional and service is outstanding.

We went here to do a driver’s test for my mother who is over 80. There were a lot of people and it was comfortable and easy to access. Lots of extra parking at the back of the building.The building and parking were very accessible. Wheelchair ramp and bathrooms… air conditioning was at a nice temperature the day we were there.The woman at the Licence office told me to turn in at the Honda Dealership, which was a bit confusing- the entrance is actually across the street (from the auto dealer’s side entrance).

Clean and well maintained

Very nice facility, fully accessible with ramp and elevator at rear building. A clean, bright space filled with very friendly people, good meeting rooms and very well equipped kitchens. I would recommend this facility for meetings.

Having been born in Riga, Latvia it was a treat to welcome Jim Karahalios the leader of the New Blue Party of Ontario to the centre. The message of common sense and innovative programs were well received

Great place, store with Latvian goods, bank, library and space for Latvian dance and choirs practice Space.

It’s a cute place. Has wifi and a lot of room. It is dated but part of the charm. Accessible as well. parking isn’t the greatest only downside.

As a first generation Latvian Canadian I’ve had many opportunities to visit.I was married there 30+ years ago in the grand hall and that wedding is still spoken about today by family and friends. Absolutely beautifully decorated and the food was beyond compare including an ice sculpture… Just magical.Fast forward, my daughter was married there a few years ago and had the same experience. The hall upstairs was transformed into a magical room for the bride, groom, family and guests. The acoustics were great, our band “Something Extra” played us well into the night!I can’t say enough about the food… If you have an opportunity to attend an event there you’ll be blown away.On other occasions I have attended birthday celebrations and funeral receptions here… Quaint, lovely venue for celebrations or for loved ones of the deceased to gather and enjoy a meal and togetherness in honour of our love ones who have passed.The Latvian Centre is truly a gem.
