ACE Trades & Technical Institute (ATTI)

Taking the automotive red seal class at ATTI, the instructor Larry is very good and my experience with ATTI has been excellent. Definitely worth it.

School has been convenient for doing the Gasfitter Class B course online (and in class).The instructor was knowledgeable and did a good job of going over the criteria.

Extremely poor customer service. The teacher makes constant mistakes, rushes through the text by skimming it over, asks the students to do some questions, and when asks if there were any confusions with the question, tells the students to look at the answer key because there isn't enough time. Do not buy their printed binder. It is full of mistakes and the online version works fine if you do need it.The front staff cannot do anything without mistakes either. And no one takes responsibility for anyone it, there is always an attempt to deflect or an excuse. Pure money grab this course is.

DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS BUSINESS - took a plumbing red seal refresher course worth $1000. The teacher William gave us a ton of material to study - studied and memorized material 2 times. Did it a 3rd time found 50+ mistakes in his questions and answers. Did it 4th time found over 100+ mistakes. Went in to write my IP RED SEAL feeling incredibly stressed and overwhelmed. I CONTACTED William (teacher) multiple times, after my exam asking him why he produces incorrect information to his students etc. No response. Very very disappointed and counter productive. I have a new born child and wasted $1000 plus 2 weeks of not working to take this course and this is what I get. Absolutely disgusting

I am so glad to had chance that involve fire protection technician course and learn many subjects by great teacher(PHD, Ninad Bhatt). He have a special skill and method for teaching Electric and Electronic. and also College's management team are so perfect.

I recently had the pleasure of attending an online class, and I must say it was an incredible experience. I enrolled Electrical 1P Refresher course and it exceeded all my expectations. The entire learning journey was seamless, engaging, and highly effective.First and foremost, the platform used for the online class was user-friendly and intuitive. Navigating through the different sections and accessing course materials was a breeze. The layout was well-organized, and I never encountered any technical difficulties throughout the duration of the class.The instructor is truly exceptional Supneet Chawla who has 17 years of experience of teaching. They were knowledgeable, passionate, and had a remarkable ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner..

Oh boy, where do I start.I signed up for Level 1 electrical with Ace trades in Surrey approximately 1 year before my course was to start.Ace trades then pushed back the start date of my course by 3 months. Then they did it again! Finally, I was ready to start school and showed up for my first day this past January (2023). While there the manager of the school informed me that the course was pushed back AGAIN! Zero notice, & I had already been laid off from company to attend school.Luckily I managed to book a last minute seat at Sprott Shaw the same day.I emailed Ace trades manager to confirm the conversation we had previously in the day while in person. No reply.I then emailed them to get a full refund. No reply. My mother had paid for my course as a Christmas gift to me, so she was quite upset & reached out to Ace trades via a phone call. They told her they were working on the refund. 3 weeks went by and we had zero correspondence from them.So my mother reached out again, and they informed her that she would have a cheque within the week. Again she waited, no cheque.Being quite upset she called the school and asked what was going on. The school told her that they had a meeting scheduled with myself for later on that afternoon to discuss things, which they did not.Another 2 weeks go by.Finally my mom calls on and is getting quite angry at this point. My mother told one of the two receptionists “ do I have to get my lawyer involved in this?”The receptionist said “do what you need to do”.This last conversation took place in April. 4 months after we had originally tried to get our refund.We then went to the lawyer and had them send over a registered letter stating that we want our full refund.The same day they received the letter from our lawyer, they reached out to me and asked where to mail the cheque. Unbelievable!!Extremely poor communication from the front desk. I would HIGHLY recommend finding another school.I’d give them zero stars if I could.

If the electrical code book is not your friend, go and see Supneet. She is very knowledgeable and will focus section by section to boost your confidence level. She has two different options in class and online which is great!

The course I attend is super straightforward, and easy to manage. It's simplified yet- detailed at the same time. This course has aided in expanding my skillset, while allowing me to feel more confident in challenging my skilled trades (ITA) red seal exam.I look forward to completing my refresher course at ACE Trades, and would love to return to take advantage of the other various courses this school has to offer.Natthan PlessisPlumbing Refresher Course
