Cave Springs Camp

Went here for a wedding... It had rained pretty much the whole week leading up to the wedding..The ceremony was in the forest and was beautiful.. I would have thought perhaps maybe some hay would have been thrown around the walk ways because it was very muddy... everywhere, ankle deep in some spots... Perhaps seeing this post, it will get the grounds crew to step it up.. Most of the ladies had mud damage to their dresses and definitely shoes...not really cool.

I took 70 intermediate students from my school to Cave Springs Camp for an overnight stay. The staff were great, the food was very good, and the activities were fun and well thought out. I would definitely do this trip again. The cabins hold 14 students, and they have 6 of them to use. The chaperones can stay in an empty cabin if there is one spare or stay in a newly built center that has 5 rooms and 4 bunkbeds in each room.

I sent my daughter in cave springs camp at the age of 9 this year. She loved it so much that I signed her up for another week later this summer. They have some churches base skits. But a lot if it was all fun and games. The instructor interacted very well with the kids. They went swimming every day. Had a few day trips one if which was a canoe trip. I chose the day came with one optional day to sleep over. But they have sleep over camps as well. I would recommend thier services.

I've been going to this camp for 3 years now, and its amazing, they to so many fun actives. My personal favorites are Archery, Counselor Paint, and Hiking. I would very much recommend this camp. Great food, Welcoming and Accepting staff. You well make many memories and friends whether their campers or counselors.

I was there as a child had a very great experience around the camp fire singing songs..I also stayed for a week as a child amd went back the following years now am almost 40 brought my children down to the area recently and had a great time hiking and exploring made me feel like a kid again

My boys just returned from the overnight camp and from reading and hearing all the positive reviews, I was hopeful that they were going to have a great time.Unfortunately, upon picking them up, they were pretty upset! They said they were underfed and starving, never allowed more then what was placed on their plates.Also, the water that they were given to drink was dirty and sometimes contained chunks of dirt.My oldest son said he kept asking to have a shower and they continued to deny him.One night of their stay they had to sleep painfully on a hard wood floor.They said they enjoyed the activities but when not being fed properly and or given fresh water, it can make all the positives disappear. I really wish that this could have been a better review.If considering, ask about sending your son with a case of bottled water and about packing energy bar type snacks. Also be prepared with a very very cushioned sleeping bag if they have to sleep on hard floor. This would have made a big difference in our situation.

We recently just had our wedding here in September and it was The most perfect day ever. The venue , the ceremony area, cocktail hour and reception ..everything was so so perfect it’s such a great venue to host your wedding the property is huge... the ceremony for us was so perfect in the Forest!Everyone just fell in love with it we wish we could relive that moment every dayAlso the use of the cabins and indoor beds are perfect for a wedding and the guest to stay !Thank you cave springs camp for letting us have our wedding there and being so awesome to plan with !! I will recommend this place to everyone !

My daughter absolutely loved this camp.She stayed over night for a week and loved it so much, we sent her agian for another week that same Summer.The campground isn't the biggest, but deff has that classic summer camp feel.The staff were so friendly and involved. I would definitely recommend it based on my. Daughters experience.

Pretty fun place u should go here

I was here yesterday for my brother's wedding. Very lovely setting. I had a concern about attending a campsite that backs onto a wooded area. To my relief, there were no bears present. My other concerns were running into unstoppable hockey mask wearing killing machines, Blair Witches, general goblins and bees. Thankfully we were free of all of those. Well except for bees actually. My other brother was sitting infront of me at the ceremony, all of a sudden, there was this evil and suspicious looking bee on the back of his neck. Where there's one bee, there are usually thousands. Thankfully, it flew away and refrained from viciously attacking my brother.All in all it was a lovely setting. However, I was a tad disappointed there were no caves and no springs. I ended up wasting time packing all my head lamps and rations to explore the cave and a swim suit to take a soak.Would recommend for wedding.Would not recommend for mining and or water relaxation.
