Superb service! Lola was wonderful! She was nice, warm, informative, funny. Hands down best customer service I’ve ever received. Most other wax bars usher me in, have standard small talk and try to leave asap. Mine was great! I didn’t feel like a customer being pushed through. Felt like she did a meticulous job on my Brazilian. Ive never had sugaring before but I definitely prefer it to waxing now, they do smaller patches so there’s probably less pain. Definitely easier than an at home wax job. Would happily come back here again

Fauna and all the lovely folx who work there are amazing. I have been a client for over a year and they know what they are doing and I trust them wholeheartedly. The space is wonderful and inclusive in a way that immediately puts you at ease. Special shout out to Lola who is an absolutely delightful ray of sunshine and joy who makes every visit feel like a treat!

I’ve been to many waxing places, but Fauna was the first sugaring experience I had and I’m converted. They are the most welcoming and inclusive space. they promote skin/body care and also promote only removing hair if you want to, not because you feel like you have to or like you should. Which is pretty cool for a hair removal service. They’ve filled a gap/need in the beauty service industry for sure. Keep on with the good vibes :)

I loved my service with Sarah at Fauna! The atmosphere is clean and trendy. I felt really safe and comfortable for my sugaring appointment - the service itself was relaxing, professional and quite painless! Now that I've tried sugaring, I'm never going back. My sensitive skin was so soft and healthy for months after my appointment.

I absolutely love Fauna and recommend it to everyone! I have been going to Sarah since before they moved into the new space. Sarah has been amazing for all my sugaring but I am most impressed when she sugars my eyebrows. Somehow Sarah makes my eyebrows look perfect every time I go and the results are always longer lasting than tweezing or regular wax! Sugaring also becomes easier every time and is very gentle on my extremely sensitive skin. Going to fauna is fun and relaxing and I am always pleased with the customer service and sugaring results every time. They know what they are doing here at Fauna and they genuinely care about their clients. Thanks Fauna :)

Fauna has been a game-changer for hair removal. My first sugaring experience was far less painful than any other hair removals, and the benefits from these treatments keep on coming! Besides the obvious purpose, my sensitive skin hasn't broken out from a single treatment; it actually helped repaired a lot of my skin/hair follicles. Not to mention that the space and staff are incredibly warm and friendly, Fauna delivers the most soothing and cared for sugaring experience in Halifax.

I’ve been receiving sugaring treatments for 8+ years and Fauna is the best place I’ve been sugared ever!!! The studio environment is so welcoming and the staff are friendly, professional, and quick! It can be hard to find salons that offering sugaring and it’s rare to find one as comprehensive Fauna! Plus they offer a student discount on services.
