Alliston Home Hardware Building Centre
On Home Hardware's website they say that they will price match, but the Alliston store apparently does not. I came in today asking them to match Lowe's sale price on an American Standard toilet priced at $169.00. HH's price was $229.00. Both stores had the identical product and both had it in stock (Barrie Lowes). The guy at the service desk at HH said that it qualified for price matching but that he wouldn't sell it that low because it was below his cost"

Alliston Home Hardware Building Centre
Everytime I go here to get Lumber I end up travelling to Barrie. They take no care in the lumber in the yard and it’s usually saturated with water. The service desk never answers the phone or returns your calls and there’s always lineups. understaffed and not well managed. However, they do have some good associates working they’re doing their best.

Had a bunch of window and door screens redone 6 out of 9 would not fit after being done. Screens were to tight try to say it was my fault to them back to fix them worse than the first time not wasting my time thank for stealing my $200 dollars worst home hardware try to help local just bad bad service thanks for nothing. And to top it all off notice 1 screen had a small cut init they don't care about there customer's notice the cut when I was installing it should of gone somewhere else and got it done right the first time.

Very poor arrogant customer service! Would not price match any other stores on lumber and basically told me to go to another store. So rude! As a paying customer I left feeling very discriminated and embarrassed for asking for a price match!Is this for real! PLEASE take your business to a store who appreciates your business!

When I had an urgent repair to do on my laundry drain, I thought I would save time using a local retailer... What a Mistake!!This store is almost always short on common fittings... I only needed 2 of one fitting! No such luck! You might be correct that I should know better... I prefer to think that it is worth trying HH first... but not really when they are 2-3 km (in the opposite direction of HDepot) and over 40 min wasted time hinting for out of stock parts!

I purchased a lawnmower, based on the recommendation of one of their associates a week after I purchased it the winder broke. I attempted to return it, and I was told that I had to wait for the manager to come in four days later before they could tell me if they could even repair or replace it absolutely disgusting Service I would never shop at any home hardware again.
