Beaches Recreation Centre

Good afternoon, on Easter Sunday, we arrived at the Rec Centre to participate in the 25K Easter Hunt only to learn that the event doesn't happen at the Rec Centre (the organizers were misleading) and that the event had actually been cancelled. Naturally our 7 year old daughter was upset (she is also Autistic), so the 2 reps that were working and setting up for the parade, were so kind - above and beyond (I'm sorry I didn't get their names), that created a little egg hunt for her in the lobby and had her help them write Happy Easter" on the front walk. I cannot thank them enough for saving the day for us. They were under no obligation to do this

Local Rec Centre. Quiet Gym downstairs. Fitness classes. Programming available for all ages. Friendly staff.

Fantastic facilities offered to everybody by the city wonderful stuff lots of events for young children and adults

It is a great little pool with very friendly people working there. Love it.I hope they would keep the door to the outside shut though. It was freezing cold last couple times we were there. I understand it can get warm for the guards but.....

Not alot of parking and not alot of room to sit and wait for kids class to finish but I did walk around and place was clean and alot of pictures to look at on the walls. Cute place

An affordable neighbourhood place to get great exercise.

Staff at this community center are amazing. They really look to connect with the people that come in and help them.
