Disappointed. Staff was kind and helpful. But I've been to the South end to find out they only do racquet restringing at this location. So I came here with my squash racquet only to hear it will take up to 4 days and they don't have any squash racquet strings. The way they order product also does not make it possible to get the strings needed. So ultimately just a little disappointing considering Barrie does not have many options for these kind of things.

Geoffrey the sales associate helped us pick out a perfect bike late Sunday afternoon. So friendly and knowledgeable! Such a great experience thank you :)

Wonderful staff in the kids shoe department, very helpful and engaged my son who chatted endlessly about model trains.

My partner and I visited the Georgian Mall Sport Chek last friday. She bought a new ski jacket and pair of bib pants, good quality at a great price. Today we went to use them, and we could not find the pants anywhere (we looked high and low). We thought they had been left in the store. We called this location and Wayne was kind enough to take our information and check the cameras to see if the items had all made it into the bag, and if we had left with them. He called us back about ten minutes later to say that the pants had made it into the bag, and that we had left with them. Next thing we knew, the pants magically appeared right under our noses (in the back of the closet, where I had personally checked three times).TL;DR Wayne checked the cameras for us to help us find a lost item. In the end we were just blind.Thanks Wayne for the great customer service and for going out of the way to check the cameras for us!Merry Christmas.

Barrie sport check is so much better than Orillia!!! I mean huge. Great people found shoes and was outta there ....Great!

I went into the store to look for boots for my son and check out Yoga mats. The employee that interacted with me was very knowledgeable and helpful. He knew what the better mats to use for hot yoga was and the towels. The footwear wasn't as helpful(two employees chatting away and ignoring the customers) . I did find someone who could quickly answer my questions about footwear after I returned from having lunch. My son is 9 with a 9 1/2 size foot(mans)with a high arches. I was assured that there should be something to fit him. All in all pretty good experience and I bought a towel for my mat. Will buy new mat another day as they are at least $100.00.

I've just discovered that they have ski servicing here - binding mounting, waxes and tunes, etc. Great prices and decent work.

Awesome customer service! Was there March 13 in the afternoon looking for shoes for my son. They young man helping us was great!

Visited an hour before close and was greeted by friendly associate walking by. My dad was looking for shoes and had a lot of help from a really knowledgeable and personable associate named Mark, great customer service. appreciate all the help!
