Hertz Car Rental - Calgary - Horizon Auto Centre HLE

Told me if I braught the car back a day early they would refund me that's days charge and now they won't.Still calling me saying I havent returned the car and it was returned a day before my contract ended.

Fahad and Ashib were extremely helpful and accomodating, and so friendly as well. Will be coming back to them everytime I'm in Calgary

This branch is quite literally the best hertz branch I've dealt with world wide. The guys that work there are so wholesome and helpful and hardworking. Don't understand the negative ratings but good job you guys!

Had a rental inscurance company had gave me a date to return the rentalHertz sent people after me to get the vehicle back and there guys threatened me saying get out of the vehicle. so I went home then called my inscurance company they said the vehicle is not due yet back to hertz and I can keep the truck then at night they came out of no where and just towed the car away do not ever rent from this location they are unprofessional they do not call and say your stuff is due they just send people after you then tow it I am dealing with the senior head office about this situation do not ever rent from this location they are unprofessional and are all freind working toghter there

Overall a very positive experience renting with the gentlemen here at Hertz. The car we rented was well-maintained and the pick-up/drop-off process was easy and quick. We will definitely rent with them again.

I'm extremely disappointed!!!!! I had booked a Tesla a month before our rental date at the 5th Avenue location for my husband as a Christmas present. Hertz was aware of this and were very accommodating, saying they would even give us an upgrade to a Tesla Y for him as it is a present. I thought this was very kind. HOWEVER, when we arrived we were given a Tesla 3 (which is fine... not a problem) but it only had 48% charge and we were planning to go to Banff straight away as we had tickets to an event there. We were told we could get there and have 8% battery remaining. I am definitely not taking that chance in the winter. If there is an accident or a traffic hold up, then we are stuck on the highway without charge. (Rental companies rent vehicles with a full tank of petrol...of course they should rent a vehicle with a full charge) They knew a month in advance of this booking....we did not just walk off the street and say we needed a vehicle!!! We missed our event as we were trying to get more charge on it. The car was also extremely dirty inside and out - it was not washed at all from the last customer. Filthy. Plus, I am very cautious of car companies and check cars thoroughly before I leave the lot. The gentleman who gave us the keys was very annoyed I was taking photos and checking it. He kept telling me that he already did that and that he would be email me all the photos. He was very rude with me checking the damage myself. It's a good thing I did check it myself because the email with all the photos did not arrive. Extremely upset with this hire car experience and the ruined Christmas present idea for my husband.

Great service and assistance in getting the best choice for the best price. My first experience with this location was amazing.... although there is room for improvements, the customer service experience is better than most.

The guys at this location are solid employees. My partner and I flew in to the city and the initial place we had booked a car overbooked and did not have anything available. We called them and they were able to give us great rates over the phone and even waived the fee we would’ve paid when car was dropped off at the airport. I will be renting from them from now. 10/10
