The Tea House Restaurant at Parkwood
A lovely afternoon tea. Service was good, ‘tea’ was enough for lunch (I was stuffed and I like to eat!), and everything was delicious. We asked to be seated in the shade and our request was accommodated. It was very hot but in the shade it was fine, and the beautiful view and food more than made up for the heat! A little pricey for what you actually receive but with it going towards keeping Parkwood up, I would go again.

We had a wonderful anniversary date at the Tea house! The ambience and service were 10/10 ! Our server was super friendly and the food was on point! We were really happy with our dinner experience! The views are stunning and the whole estate is out of a fairytale!

The Tea House Restaurant at Parkwood
We were greeted immediately and felt welcome. Stunning and relaxing setting. Really nice lunch menu and food was good/average prices. It’s about the experience. Servers were all cheerful and accommodating. They have a golf cart for people with mobility issues. Patio is accessible. Bathroom is back at coach house/gift shop. Limited seating in tea house itself. Reservations recommended. Garden is a feast for the eyes. Grounds are free to explore.

Beautiful location and amazing service! I came for lunch with my family. Despite the hot and humid weather, the waiter was friendly and the food came out quickly.It was also delicious! I highly recommend the peach trifle and chicken panini. I will definitely come back

Location is beautiful, food was wonderful, friendly wait staff and the setting cannot be beat. We've been to The Tea House twice in the last 3 weeks. A little self serving too though, as we are also Star Trek fans and they filmed an episode of Strange New Worlds on the grounds and at/in the house and we also wanted to take the inside house tour). It was so wonderful the first time, we decided to take my Mom. (Be sure to make a reservation, and plan on taking your time while there. This is not a 'quick grab a sandwich and go' kind of place, (if you want that go get a sub at a fast food joint)... here, instead you should take in the moment and create a memory. By the way, the food was wonderful! It's like being away in a beautiful European setting, a mini vacation.The staff were very friendly and accommodating both times. Yes, there were some wasps at our second lunch (not the first one), but they are everywhere, even when trying to eat in our own backyard. It's summer in Ontario in a garden.One of the other things I appreciated is that while they may have empty tables that make it look like they have availability (in case you didn't make a reservation), is that they aren't really 'available'. It was our understanding that if they have enough lead time they will not overbook tables if they know they will not have sufficient staff for their guests. Remember, Covid has had a large impact on many industries and staffing issues, especially all restaurants.

Brunch menu was awesome. Tried the Reuben and grilled chicken panini, both very flavourful. Good service and of course nice view.

The view is really good and that’s the only reason we went to this tea house restaurant from Toronto. And it went really disappointing, we had a reservation and they arranged us in a corner seat where the tree blocked the fountain view, we asked if we could move to the other table , and they say they booked this table for someone else , but there’s plenty of seat empty and no one been seated there while the time we left the place , which is ridiculous. The host was rude and simply say they can refund us the reservation fee and not willing to exchange the table but we went all the way there for this terrible service and the food is bad and not worth the money which we already know.

Had afternoon tea here on a Saturday and the ambiance was great! The tea house overlooks the grounds of the estate and it was super tranquil and relaxing. The items served on the afternoon tea tray were also super tasty and willing. Service was also friendly and helpful.Only downside is dealing with lots of wasps, who really seem to enjoy the jam from the desserts. Best to eat those first before the wasps do! Apart from the wasps, all in all a great experience.

The best restaurant I've gone to in a while. We went for my wife's birthday. The views from the table are amazing. Our server (named Amrit) really made the lunch special. Go for afternoon tea, it's amazing!!
