RBC Royal Bank

Horrible bank to work with. I've been a client for 30+ years and I'm leaving them. They DO NOT CARE ANYTHING about you....unless you're on their millionaires list, I guess. I have investments, multiple accounts, a current mortgage (10+ years) and a previous mortgage. That said, they will nickel and dime you to the grave and only care to contact you when it's in their best interest. Good bye RBC, I'm taking all my personal and professional business (Group Benefits for my business) to a local credit union. I'm am so DONE with you.

The worst RBC Bank.I have only RBC Bank accounts and all my savings , RRSP, RESP , investments and direct deposit of two salaries are with RBC but yesterday they weren't willing to wave the cost for a bank draft. I was offended and am now considering moving to different bank.

This is my main bank where I do all my transactions. I even recently moved my mortgage here for better customer service from my where my financial advisor works at. There was some account fee savings and a good rate for moving my mortgage over.Since then I've been disappointed with my mortgage specialist. I previously had asked for help on returning my dbl up payments as I was having a difficult time doing it online. She insisted I go ahead and do it online my self. I've gone into the bank and ask for help but was not able to finish the process. I travel for work and don't have the time to keep coming into the bank to fix this issue.Customer service is really important to me, it seems like it's not a priority for RBC

Worst ever cashier I came across today.I went to deposit a cheque for $41k and it was from my account to someone who had account with RBC, that weird cashier asked me that do you have balance is your account.What a weird question asked by this weird cashier.Of course I have balance on my account and that’s the reason I went to deposit a cheque.This cashier needs more training.HOPE THE BRANCH MANAGER READS THIS.

Terrible bank with terrible customer service. Branch refused to certify cheque, I called customer support and they told me it’s not a problem and they should certify the cheque.Assistant manager of the branch refused to certify as “this isn’t something we do here at rbc”Wow ok definitely avoiding doing business with this company in the future.Hard to overlook all the other 1 star reviews, clearly the customers are not important to this bank

Terrible customer service. Have been a customer of this branch for over 40 years even though they have recently moved. We do most of our banking on line but specifically went into the branch to conduct a specific type of transaction, when we told the teller what we were there for she actually said “ it would be easier for me if you just did this on line“ she was so dismissive and not interested in assisting us at all. Then she went into lecture mode. We are very close to pulling our business and taking it else where.

Customer Service is Clearly NOT important to this RBC Branch .Accounts set up in error by inadequate staff members , spent over 2 + hrs on RBC service line trying to correct human errors made by staff. Extremely frustrating . Calls dropped when transferred from 1 staff / to another :(

All staff are so helpful this is a new branch and i feel so organized. Sometimes it will have some line up but the staff is working so hard.

The worst bank, if you’re considering going with RBC don’t.They set your limits for you and don’t let you change them and make it so you cannot pay rent in 1 day, you will have to start 3 days early in order to make rent on time.They will hold all your cheques regardless of you being with the same company for over half a year, you will get unexcused NSF fees due to this.I have had my cheques released fully in the past, it is a struggle with every branch but this one in particular will not do anything to help you, and the manager will not talk to you. She is lazy and refuses to do her job.They ignore notes on your file and do what they want depending on how they’re feeling. Sometimes they will give you your pay, sometimes they won’t. It is a gamble.I have never had a fraud charge, or had any discrepancies with the bank so there is absolutely no excuse for this.
