Chances Playtime

I ate here with my girlfriend's parents. The food was really great and the atmosphere of the restaurant section was fun and relaxed, like a comfy sports bar. However, I find it too bad that they don't have any poker/card tables... The casino side of things is really lacking in my opinion.. Slot machines are basically just money machines for them, and that is the only 'casino' service they offer... They don't have to pay staff to be dealers etc... Having recently moved to the Comox Valley, I was disappointed to learn that I wouldn't be able to satisfy my desire to be surrounded by people looking for a little gambling excitement with the opportunity to employ some skill and thought, other than just pulling a lever...

The food is pretty much always great at Match Courtenay...and the service.The reservation system is not as good as the above.

Nice new restaurant with an outdoor patio. I like playing the slots here, especially the big bonus Wheel of Fortune. It would be great if they had card tables as well.

Pretty good food but definitely room for improvement. The fall of the bone" ribs definitely do not fall off the bone but they're still nice. The steak is thin but still good. Everything is good but nothing is great."

Service is good. Staff are friendly. Food is tasty.

Casino is nice. Ate at Match Eatery Public House at Happy hour. Food was delicious. Service was great. I'd eat there again. Thank you.

The New Match Eatery is awesome. No more having to drive over the bridge for a nice place. It's gonna be my new local. A shuffle board table to boot. Good priceing for happy hour specials. The other bars in town should be worried.1 observation, the glass washer should be moved from under the nice bar. The steam and water will destroy the new woodwork in no time. Just speaking from experience cause we spend a lot of time in bars. The Retired Malahat boys.

Was ID going in wich is fine but was getting ready to play when they pulled me back to the front to ID me again so I just left granted it's a new id and I'm only 19 but c'mon that just ruined the vibe
