We used Bugdens for all our taxi abventures.From Ryan Masion where we were staying, to Signal Hill, Cape Spear. Lee one the taxi drivers was the best. He gave us an extra personal tour and shared history of StJohn's that will forever will be apart of our hearts. Thank You very much.From Winnipeg

Great fast service, friendly driver

You have a nice few amazing drivers..Very friendly.,and ( the one mans vehicle smells like a dentist office,drives the brakes a lil too much).Would also be nice to have a little extra room in backseat ,seems you can get really cramped up with no one able to use front seat anymore,and I gets a cramp in the neck trying to get in..stupid corona...

Great early morning pick up service

I rode with Bugden's for the first time in well over a decade or two. When I got to my destination, I told him that he should turn off the meter, and he told me, in a cold tone, he can turn it off when he wants to. Truth is, he can't. He has to listen to his boss. And he acts as if it is his car. It isn't his car, otherwise the license plate would start with H or J, most likely. His attitude toward me was awful, even though what I told him was what he should be doing. Regarding my future with Bugden's, the writing may be on the wall. I may not be dealing with them again. New Found all the way.

Pathetic service now twice they came late and when I called and booked 1 night in advance they don't have my booking, never gona use again

Paul was our driver. He made our trip around St. John's pleasant. The cabs really take a beating on these roads. Paul was able to navigate around most of the giant holes in road to reduce the bouncing effect. Took us to signal hill and Cape Spear.

My experience with taxi service in St. John's has generally been very positive. The meter rate for taxis in St. John's is high relative to many other Canadian cities, but that is understandable given the high operating costs taxi operators face and the extensive downtime many drivers experience because of wide timing variance in demand for taxi service in this city.I have been a Bugden's customer for over 50 years and have always found their service to be excellent. The dispatchers provide a good estimate of how long it will be before a taxi arrives. Virtually every driver I have dealt with over the years has been friendly and efficient. I have not encountered any of the negative experiences reported by some reviewers. I am pleased to note that the quality of service provided by Bugden's has continued unchanged following the change in ownership a few years ago. I look forward to continuing to use their service in the future.

Booked a taxi to arrive at 0740 so I would be at work for 0800. Had to call twice and they just showed up at 0757 when I need to be at work in 3 minutes!!!!!!! Nope never again so unreliable and cabs so expensive!!!! St Johns NEEDS UBER
