CIBC Branch with ATM

I don't like this bank and teller, too.I can't get my cash to my bank account, pay $10, and get it by draft check. So even though I said I would split the cash in half, she kept telling me to make a check and got a check fee. It's not a lot of money, but they set such rules and ripped off the commission. Plus, the bank teller is so rude, unkind, and slow working. So I'm going to close this bank account and not trade this bank again.

Waste of time coming here for anything. The staff are either purposefully unhelpful or not trained well and they are constantly under prepared. I went in for a withdrawal and was told they didn't have enough US bills and to come back the next day, so I did. The next day I was told they still didn't. They also ordered the wrong credit card twice, failed to renew a card on time, and never have change. Terrible branch and terribly run

Worst service I've ever had, definitely make your feel like a number. Went to close my account and was told I need to pay 13 dollars. I also have a credit card with them that I will pay off and cancel it. My advice is never do business with CIBC. Lost a loyal customer forsure.Gary Hanna

Visited the bank on this Saturday, I was surprised they had no tellers on and that they were not able to help anyone in the line. The woman that waited 20 minutes in front of me had four business deposits to do and was rudely told by the teller that did not have a name tag on to not bring more than two at once in the future or they would not take them. I find it hilarious that a bank would not want to take your money.The lineup was long and painful for everyone there, lots of grumpy customers today for sure.Three of the customers were raving about the service the get at the Abbotsford location and I have to agree with them.Some new management might be in order for this branch, not the tellers fault that no one could cover her break!

Friendly staff. Would give a 5 star but they do lack tellers when it’s busy. The Imperial services are second to none.

Poor customer serviceVery poor service all aroundI would say, if you have an account there, take your money and leave to another bank.I Tried closing an account, that I have papers for, declaring, information needed to close the accountThe head guy, told me to get a lawyer to close the accountI have been trying to close the account for 2 years now.CIBC in town is run with new people, from 2 years ago. 2 years ago, a lady was helping me to close the account, she no longer works there, and the current people, there now, are not helpful, and they give you the run around to gather letters from the government, that I just found out. Don’t exist. It’s been way over 2 years, way too long to close an account. I’m thankful I finally got help from a guy at the BC government service. Who has been trying to locate the letter the bank is asking me for, and now I’ll be getting Legal help.Because I have all the proper information to legally close the account.

I've been a CIBC client for 20 years and this is easily the worst branch I've ever had dealings with. If you leave a message to have your call returned they will never get back to you (It's happened multiple times). They have a super high staff turnover so you'll rarely have consistent experiences. Go to the Sardis location. It's way better.

I have a non-registered GIC product that, according to the contract, pays interests annually. Last year I withdrew my due interest without any problem with this same branch. But this year when I walked in, the staff refuses to give me my interest, which was already sitting in my account earning nothing. They told me that I cannot touch this account until it is mature. (it turns out that they got it mixed up with a similar registered GIC product). I was really surprised and insist that this product pays interests annually. The staff in this branch treated me rudely, talks as if I knew nothing about this product and was making trouble.Although in the end after talking to their headquarter by phone they gave me my money, the entire process was handled rudely and carelessly. I didn't even get my receipt for that transaction. I can give my testimonial that the staff there is exactly the opposite to putting customers first"."

Hands down worst experience ever.Disorganized to the max, and lacking in customer service. Won't return and recommend you don't either.I arrive at my appointment time, they have no record of my appointment, have me wait 40 minutes, then come out and tell people who had arrived after me that he would see them next. I.am then told it will only be a few more minutes which it wasnt so I left. And to think the money they could have been making off me by selling me a mortgage. I can see why this place is not doing well.
