Sharp Insurance - Calgary

I've been with Sharp for over 5 years now and have always gotten fair rates and excellent customer service. On my most recent experience, I had to make a bunch of changes and additions-- everything was super easy, efficient and my rates went down! Very pleased and would definitely recommend! Extremely disappointed !!!!I have been calling for the past 2 weeks trying to modify my policy to cover a new car I am picking up next week.Every time a call there is over 20 minutes waiting and no one answers.There is no option to leave a message and get a call back.I tried using the app, it's been 5 days no one has called to confirm the changes.The dealership cannot allow me to leave with the new vehicule if I don't have coverage!This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!So funny because last month when I went threw the sales team to purchase this policy... they were extremely responsive!I mean emails were replied within minutes.But NOW total silence. Being ignored.I definitely will not renew with them.Will NEVER recommend them.Can't wait for it to be over !

Was helped out by Diyana Yang. Quick changes to my account that were needed. I appreciate it. Overall - have been quite happy with the insurance plan I have through them. Were able to save me money by switching over. Glad I made the change.

I have been a client of Sharp's for many years. Unfortunately, their service of late leaves a lot to be desired.All I wanted to was make 2 adjustments to my policy. It's a mistake to use their website because everything has to be verified through the phone, making the website useless for the most common tasks. If you are calling them, expect to wait an hour before you reach someone, and you must talk to someone for any changes to your policy however Sharp has never missed or delayed taking money from my account.It took me 2 weeks to connect with someone to make the changes, I have to find another broker that is more responsive to my needs.

Today I had a very pleasant experience with Sharp. I needed to update my policy as I am replacing my car currently.Kyle Lihaven provided an exceptional service. He was extremely helpful, professional, and patient. He explained me the process, walked me through it, provided all the docs and info in a very timely manner.I switched from AMA to Sharp just recently and frankly I feel that it was a pretty good decision.

I want to commend David Wong and Travis for their exceptional patience and service. Even though it has been a struggle for wait times due to Call volume and staffing, I am impressed at how kind and understanding they were and also accepting responsibility for the lag. It has been about 3 hours of being on hold over 2 days so I was not a happy client but I always appreciate great customer service so I am happy to continue working with Sharp and they informed me they are working hard to increase staffing by 3-5 during this time to address this issue ! Thank you David!!!

Sharp insurance lost my business last week . They were so impressive in 2015 but have gone down hill since. 2019 they almost got my home closing date postponed, in 2020 they made a simple addition of a vehicle last all afternoon, in 2021 I tried to report an incident with my car and never got a call back for days , last week I couldn't get hold of them at all their phone options hang up on the customer, the app is useless. Tired of giving them free money. They are way downhill from 2015. I should make it clear that the people that work at Sharp's front line " are great. They are just not given the tools to do what they have to do."

The last couple days I have been discussing my policy with Kenneth Martinsen he has been incredibly helpful and beyond patient with me answering all my questions. I am happy with the service I received and will be recommending Sharp.

Have had the displeasure of talking to a really rude agent, won't disclose his name. When asked if I could speak to someone else he said no one else is available and hung up. I guess Sharp can look me up by my name and listen to the call if they are keen on providing good customer service.
