Royal Inn & Suites

Needed a room for the night because of an emergemcy, i liked it so much I ended up staying for a second night, just because.. Quiet, comfortable, ultra friendly, affordable and perfectly located. You could do much worse than spend the night here. Five stars from me.

PLEASE READ AND BEWARE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS AND MAYBE EVEN BED SHEETS! SANITATION IS HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE!!! Terrible, the first room we had gotten was not cleaned the bed and room was a mess as if the last guests JUST left -this was upon us getting our key to our room" unlocking the door

Nice place but the parking was limited. I needed a handicap spot for mrs bates and there were none within a block so i checked out. Bye bye.

Staying here for a few days, I chose it because of its low price point and convenient location. (120$ downtown). Upon arrival I expected poor service from this place as on maps it’s rated at 2 stars, however I was pleasantly surprised when greeted by the friendly staff at the front desk. Don’t get me wrong, the hallways are a bit dated for decor but you don’t rate a meal on how easily it can be thrown at a bird, you rate it by taste. Not sure what that’s supposed to mean, but I’m saying I’ll rate the hotel room for the experience staying there. The Room I got (221) was Newly Renovated and very clean. The room comes with a fridge, Microwave, dresser, TV, AC, Coffee machine with free coffee and tea, desk and free high speed WiFi. The Bathroom was also newly renovated and stocked with all the freshly pressed white towels you would ever need. The bed is very comfy with pristine white linen sheets and some soft pillows. Hardwood floors make the room come together as there are no suspicious stains on the ground. They also offer a Hot breakfast for around 10$ (would recommend). As far as Bang for your Buck goes, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Not impressed with this place. Don’t work here. They hire you as an employee but then send a t4A claiming your a business which will cost you more money. It wasn’t enough to rip me off of hours but now this? Yes I will be reporting because I am not accepting this. I didn’t sign a contract. I was hired as an employee. I got messages to prove it. I don’t have a business nor permits for one. I wouldnt recommend anyone to this.Royal Inn needs to fix this asap or get in trouble with CRA. They will know too.I wouldn’t rent a room either here after knowing and seeing what I saw. If you think they care, think again. Things broken in room. Stains in tubs and toilets.

Careful staying here. Old hag at the front desk is beyond rude, gave this business over 10k. kicked me out because I asked her why she would give up our room without confirming with me and my husband first, old hag can’t handle a simple conversation if you disagree with her. ALSO WENT INTO MY ROOM MULTI times WHILE WE WERE OUT without telling my husband or myself know and yes I am upset because once we moved out we realized my 2k laptop IS MISSING and they have been going into my room without permission or letting us know…. Weird right??????

I had a good Queen bed room (322) nice and cozy. Everything available. Good neighborhood with plenty of convenience stores, restaurants and bars at walking distance. Right in front of the Guelph central station for anyone who's traveling. Good reception, both evening and morning staff were extremely nice. I can understand the security deposit but I never seen it anywhere else I stayed. I just removed a star from service because I couldn't change channels on TV and the lady wasn't sure if there was gonna be breakfast in the morning. Other than that everything was perfect.
