Very small space. Well decorated, and a good theme. The service was good, our waitress was very attentive. I guess the problem here is, I just don't like food from El Salvador. I had the enchiladas. Just not a big fan of them. Flavor was okay. The problem was there were no steak knives to cut through the deep fried tortilla shell. Was definitely too messy to pick up, and eat with your hands.If you're a fan of food from El Salvador perhaps you'll like this restaurant. I just was not impressed.

They have very different food! Traditional dishes and unusual ingredients make a unique dinning experience for those who are adventurous. The hibiscus tea was fantastic, and eveything was very well done.

Amazing food and friendly service! Their pupusas are delicious, and I really appreciate having a vegan option... Definitely the best place for a tasty, filling vegan meal downtown, and if you eat meat/cheese there are lots of choices that you'll love too!

Their pupusas and enchiladas are amazing, Staff was friendly and such a relaxing atmosphere! So glad to see authentic Salvadoran food. Keep up the delicious work!

Easily the best restaurant in Medicine Hat. Food was delicious and authentic, price was more than fair, and I believe family owned. Highly recommend!

Tried this restaurant finally for the first time and all I can say is I can't believe it took me this long to find such an amazing meal. Very good flavours, excellent prices! Went with another couple so had a taste of a few of the items and I don't know what was my favorite it was all delicious!

We were excited to finally get to try Izote! It did not disappoint! We tried a bit of everything and we were very happy! Can't wait to go back! My favorite papusa was the cheese and jalapeno. I loved the chimol! Next time I will order extra!

Mmmm! Pupusas, yucca frita con chicharón, curtido...so delicious! Every time I eat here I'm never disappointed! Gluten free options never tasted so good .

a food lovers honest opinion: this place is so authentic, everything used is fresh. Delicious flavors, and smells. im not just saying this because i work here currently but its true. the atmosphere and everyone ive met is so kind customers and staff are very attentive. food is oh wow im like never disappointed. pupasas delicious, tres leches oh my i always have to control myself not to take some home must try this place at least once

Delicious authentic cuisine. This place is the only place for about 400km you can get real birria tacos. If you hate texmex garbage like taco time and want something real, this place is it!Also, to the guy who went to a Latin Cocina and left a 3 star review because he doesn’t like El Salvadoran food - maybe don’t go to restaurants that serve El Salvadoran food - this place deserved better.Will definitely be back!
