I was recommended to visit Antique Door and Hardware as I heard that the products in the store were unmatched to those of other big box stores. I purchased the EMTEK Code complete lock set for my office door.In short I couldn't be happier with the purchase!! The sales associates were able to answer all my questions, and recommended me to the best product to use. Fabulous selection of decorative hardware and great quality! Not what you typically see everywhere else- a lot of unique choices !!I recently purchased a large order of drawer pulls and several of them came in with inconsistent finishes than what was originally ordered-which was the fault of the supplier.ADH dealt with the situation immediately and in such a lovely and professional manner. They replaced everything and now I have everything that I wanted. They are very customer centric.I wouldn't bother going anywhere else to look for hardware as they really have it all . Was in the neighbourhood. Doors locked. It's appointment-only. Called and asked if they had time to see me. I said I would be happy to book an appointment and return another day but he insisted that I wait and he'd open the door and assist me. Once inside, the gentlemen ignored literally every word I said and didn't make eye-contact once, choosing instead to focus on another couple who was there getting assistance from someone else. After speaking into a void for 30 seconds hoping his attention and focus would eventually return to me, I just had to walk out. I know why he chose to ignore me so blatantly -- I don't look like the typical person who shops at a fancy store like his: older and, more obviously, white. I was dismissed. The feeling was simultaneously humiliating and enraging -- though somehow I chose to laugh it off and treat myself to a coffee from the Starbucks across the street instead. Being disrespected is one thing...but being ignored just cuts deeper. Invisibility feels like it's a reflection of your value -- or lack thereof. I did my earnest to try to spend thousands of dollars at his store but it seemed I just wasn't worthy. This place is a nice store and carries all the luxury brands you want if you're looking for high-end stuff. But I cannot simply ignore what transpired. This is the kind of systemic BS I often deal with. I will have to source the same brands from Montreal or Calgary. The notion of handing over thousands of dollars to a company that functions like this feels like I am financing the problem. I know most people heading to this store won't be affected by my review -- they just want nice stuff. But if even one person decides to look elsewhere as I have, this insanely long review will have been worth it. Mr. Shearer, you have a lot to learn when it comes to how to treat people.

We worked with ADH for our new home. They were amazing, Luke was so helpful with everything! They have the most amazing hardware. My family and I could not be happier with how everything turned out!

I recently ordered new door handles from ADH. The ordering was easy, I did it all via text and phone calls. The installation was superb. Incredibly friendly installers who did an impeccable job. They installed my handes perfectly but also took the time to fix an on-going, yet unrelated problem with the doors. They said they wanted everything to work perfectly, even though what they fixed had nothing to do with the handles. I really couldn't be happier with the outcome. Thanks ADH!
