Honestly pick up chewed gum off the ground then place it at the bottom of your shoe and then after getting it off pick it up and place it in your hair and continue to make a swirling motion !! That’s how Scotia banks customer service treats you but to their surprise they gum situation would be more fun

I walked in at 2pm to deposit some money through the bank teller and got out by 2.41. I do mostly online but will ended up going couple times. 70% of time it’s a long wait. If you have 30 minutes to spare in your life this is the branch for you.

This bank is worse, I went to make payment for credit line in my lunch break. Lady at teller posted payment of $1601 instead of $160 as a mistake. $1440 more withdrawals from my CIBC account. On top of that my lunch break is gone because she didn’t figure out solution with her supervisor. Later at 6:30pm supervisor called my husband and said we cannot stop this payment please go to CIBC and tell them it’s our mistake to avoid releasing this payment. Plus after doing mistake she is just covering it. In the last said you can do whatever you wish with attitude. We will never deal with such careless bank and people. We not only getting run around without any apology or any credit. We have to issue new cheque and we have to wait for 5-7 business day for our own $1440 dollar. Can you believe we have such worse bank and staff in 21St century. I will definitely move all business from these bank because of such worse staff. Please do not trust these people.

A few days ago I went to this branch, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service that I received. Taymura was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, & made me feel like my business was valued. She even had the ability to talk to me like she really knew me, something that can't be taught. She checked all the boxes. I left feeling better than I did walking in, the way every customer should be treated.

teller did not know that ATM would not give cash if it was out of paper. I wanted 5's but only the other machine with paper would supply cash in 20's, so had to take the new cash to same teller to change it in to 5's, I had to show id before she would make change. She had to use a calculator to figure out how many fives to hand over. I had to sign a receipt as well. Shameful

Worst experience with a bank period. I have never had to wait so long and then be accused of lying. My account was froze due to fraud. I thought my account was closed due to the fraud. I went in to see about opening a new account due to having a retirement fund at scotia as well and I couldn't see the status. I had acquired bank fees and NSF fees with a frozen account. The bank lady AND manager proceeded to tell me I was lying about thinking my bank account was closed...when it was frozen. And the NSF fees were my responsibility. That I would have to drive to Lloydminster for my home bank because they weren't going to cover the costs. So after 45 minutes I left angry and upset. Called scotia right away ANNNDDD within 10 minutes I had ALL of the NSF fees and bank fees reversed and had a very confused customer service representative not understanding why they wouldn't reverse the fees. This bank is very very slow. Just lazy in my opinion. I am now considering just switching all my retirement savings to a different bank all together because of this horrible in person service at this location.

Great service, tellers are very friendly as well as the assistant manager, didn't grab her name though. All of the other reviews complaining would complain at any bank they go to.

We are existing customers and have had a horrible experience with this branch from misleading and misinforming us to not listening to us and our needs. We are still waiting for Pam, Senior Financial Advisor, to call us back as promised over two business days ago. Thankfully they no longer have our mortgage!!!

Very bad experienceThere was one person on shift , I request her for change my SIN number, which I have in my cell phone. she took my card details and she ask me for photo I’d (hard copy) and all stuff.I wait for 8-10 minutes. After she called her senior lady for help and then she was like, we need a that SIN number hard copy….On the other hand I do have a photo I’d, scotia bank card and driving license too..I did the same thing in a TD bank…. They co-operate very nicely and they did in 5 minutes.I am working for 6 daysHow can we come there just like for your silly things…..when they need customer for open accounts and credit card offers … they are treating like VIPDon’t go scotia… other bank services are much better..

Very upset with a cashier who was not wearing a mask! I refused to be serviced by her. She said I had to wait in another line for a cashier that was masked. If the cashier was exempt due to health reasons (masks are mandatory here) then she should have been assigned to another area of the bank and NOT to work with your customers. The other 3 employees, seemed disinterested, overall covid protocols were very loose.
