Purchased a bag of chocolate covered jujubes and when I got them home they were all dried out and stale inside. Must be because of covid 19, bring closed for a period of time and did not cover the product adequately to keep the freshness in, but here I go making excuses for someone else.

I love bulk barn! They have great prices, and everything from nuts, to candy, to flour! If you need a specific amount of anything, or even just some snacks chances are they have what you need.

No complaints with the store itself, this is a customer service issue. I arrived 15 minutes prior to closing to quickly get peanut butter. The scoops were gone and when I asked for one, the young lady said “unfortunately, we are closed in 10 minutes and the scoops are all in the dishwasher”, and without waiting for any reply, whisked herself into a back room, So here’s my reply: yes, it’s unfortunate, because you were, in fact, still open for customers and had you simply given me a scoop I would have been out of there 5 minutes before your closing time, and bonus, feeling that I had been treated kindly and with respect.

Best setup I've seen in Guelph for covid-19 era shopping. Had no qualms about shopping there once I got inside. Very well organized and felt totally safe, with very friendly and hard working staff who were obviously very well trained and practiced their food and customer safety routines efficiently and knowledgeably.

I find that the bulk barn is a place to get that spice I can't find. But I really don't like that the prices are in Kg. The scale in the store is in lbs. This sucks because all I need is 30 grams.Kg is a good way to sale flour and sugar. I'm never going to need kg of hazelnuts.

Very happy with my experience today! Ordered online...and didn't have to create an account and password like so many other stores. Order was confirmed in moments, was called to verify something and order was ready for pick up within an hour. Friendly staff brought it out to my car and processed my payment while wearing their protective gloves and masks. Best shopping experience I've had since the covid-19 lockdown. Their in-store process is also very well done!

I was very hesitant to go to Bulk Barn during COVID-19. Then I went and felt really comfortable because of all the protocols they had in place. I went back today and it was very different. Gloves are no longer required. I mentioned it to the cashier and she's like, oh, we're in Stage 3, people have options. It's a bulk store for crying out loud. Protocols are necessary. Sadly I will have to take a break until Covid is eradicated.
