Leopold's Tavern - Victoria
Eclectic and funky decor creates a nice atmosphere to drink, eat and be merry. We were there for Taco Tuesday and the tacos are tasty. Excellent Happy Hour and attentive staff makes for a great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat.

I love this place, the vibes are great and our server (I wish I remembered her name, she was blonde though) was a total sweetheart even though we didn't know where to sit or what to order (newbies in a bar, you know the deal). Their take on a long Island Iced tea is absolutely delicious, and the squirrelly temple" takes the cake for silliest drink name I've seen. I had the garlic bread and it was a large portion (I struggled to finish it) and tasted amazing!"

Went in for happy hour maybe 2 other tables in the restaurant, unfortunately it still took 25 minutes to get our appetizers and other 25 for our main food. Chicken burger was good very juicy, other then the bacon I wish it had a bit more sauce. The bacon is thick cut but they cooked it for so long it became hard as rock. The Mac n cheese bites very nicely breaded and filled with Mac n cheese gooo. The garlic nots are a bit greasy but worth it. They are also jam packed with garlicky flavour. My husband really enjoyed the poutine and said he would definitely come back just for that.

I usually leave good reviews but this was, without exaggeration, THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!Met up with some friends for a drink and dinner. The initial server was great but she took our order, and we never saw her again. Our food was dropped without cutlery. All good; This happens. We tried to wave down a server to get us cutlery and she informed us she wasn't our server. We finally grabbed our own roll ups and she came and tore us apart for doing that. We said we couldn't get a server and she just reinforced it wasn't her problem she wasn't our server. We told the bartender we didn't have anyone looking after us and he couldn't care less. We went 35 min! All of us were locals with serving experience and couldn't believe our experience. We had to beg for our bill an nobody even bothered clearing our table. It was like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares that cost us $300 bucks.

Good place, good craft beer selection and a good happy hour. Service was wonderful. Had both vegan and non vegan options. I am not vegan and had the bucket of bacon which was phenomenal but my partner is. She had the vegan poutine which was really impressive. Vegan cheese was really good and the gravy was on point. Both options were really good. Will be back again.

The perfect Victoria bar! Not quite as seedy as Big Bad John’s, but equally as fun. The picture windows and patio keep things fresh but don’t detract from the classic, cozy dive-bar feel. Great music, ambiance reminiscent of Steamers 20 years ago. A full pub-style menu gets bonus marks for having a plant-based section including nachos and beyond meats. The cocktails and beer list is grade A and right now features a limited release collaboration beer with Whistle Buoy that is something else.

Hubby and I stopped in for a drink and a bite after riding around victoria on the bikes.We were immediately amused by the “if a tables clear, park your rear” sign that greeted us on the way in.Service was great, food was delectable - the new whipped feta dip was *chefs kiss* and the staff were super friendly! DDefinitely will come back!

I guess the kitchen didn't check the calendar (hint: it's June now). I ordered the Burger of the Month assuming I would get the Pineapple Express for JUNE. Instead I was given the Southwest Chicken Club from MAY. Normally this place has great service even on delivery, but I guess from now on I'll make sure to never order monthly features on the first week they're available. Just in case.The rest of my order was still good at least (poutine and fried pickles).

Come here often for lunch and dinner with my partner, and we simply cannot get enough; great food, great customer service and great atmosphere! Love how dynamic the menu is, there’s always something new to try and Leo’s never fails to impress.P.S: I am begging you to make your Korean Fried Chicken Burger a permanent menu item, it may be the best burger I have ever eaten in my entire life.Thank you Leopolds!

Overall, it was a great experience. The funky decoration definitely added to the atmosphere and made it a unique place to eat. I decided to try the poutine and while it was good, it was a bit too greasy for my preference. The fried cheesecake for dessert was very sweet but still delicious.Our waitress was extremely kind and helpful in recommending beers to go with our meals - the beer menu was quite extensive, so it was nice to have some guidance. Overall, I would say this is a great spot to go with friends in the evening. The food and drinks options are varied, and the atmosphere is fun and lively.
