Tried to purchase some Christmas gifts there. The store was not enforcing Covid 19 safety precautions, and I emailed the store to inquire about the creator of an indigenous themed item to confirm it was not appropriation before I made a purchase and my email was ignored. I certainly won't be bringing them any more business.

I took a really precious heirloom to Carmen's for a custom framing - a guitar pick used by Johnny Cash, along with a photo of my great grandmother with the man himself. The lady I worked with was not only very knowledgeable, but caring and creative in the way she handled and framed my items. I've actually had the finished product for over a year now, and I can confidently say that it was worth every penny. Museum grade glass was used in order to prevent any further UV damage, and the custom frame is seamless. Seriously, if you have something that is precious to you that you want to preserve, I can not speak highly enough of my experience. The work that was done on this piece was loving, competent, and adhered to the high standard of quality I hoped for. Nothing but love.

Needed photos for permanent resident card. Service from the photographer was very swift, professional, and friendly. They clearly knew what they were doing, answered our questions, and were really helpful. We browsed their collection of albums and frames and were impressed with the selection!

First time in this shop today. The gentleman working was a little pushy we were just browsing. And then upon check out the same gentleman asked if he can help us I said we are just waiting to check out. The ladies behind the desk stated “he can help you” the ladies were rude and just chit chatting behind the counter the whole time. They need to learn some people skills.
