First time taking my rottie that I rescued a few months ago to the vet. From the first interaction on the phone to being in the clinic for the first time, everyone was extremely kind, caring and respectful towards my dog and I. He has stranger danger and can be highly reactive to other animals and humans. Suzie and her team were incredible and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a vet in the downtown area.

I recently adopted a dog from Mexico and he does Not like the vet. The staff at Queen West were so professional, patient, and understanding with my dog, making us all comfortable. I learned so much about my dog from that one experience, including coping mechanisms and strategies we can utilize for future visits. I would recommend Queen West to any dog owner!

Doctor Jan Cao and Staff,Are amazing friendly kind people you could ever meet. Booked appointment for our Max and they treated him like gold. Clean and inviting environment with loving staff. I feel like Dr. Fisher loves my cats as much as I do! The whole staff really takes their time to listen and answer questions. I don’t feel rushed, and my cats come home stress-free (even if they don’t like the commute). :) I absolutely recommend this animal hospital.

Excellent veterinarians. Truly awful reception staff.For the amount of times I’ve had to reschedule due to their error. I called to cancel my emergency appointment due to my dog feeling and looking much better. I call multiple times to no response. I finally get through and I am put on hold only to be then told that they will have to charge me for a (now) missed appointment.The absolutely worst part in all of this was dealing with a rather hostile and obnoxious receptionist who proceeded to lecture me on the proper protocol I should have made to cancel the appointment, whilst also chiming in on her opinion of how I should have taken care of my dog. The absolute audacity.The veterinarians are great there, however it’s a shame that we have to deal with such an unfriendly reception staff to get the appointment in the first place.

We have been bringing our cats to QWAH for decades (specifically to Dr. Fisher). They've done our check-ups, surgeries, and even helped us say goodbye to an old friend. In all cases they've been kind, helpful, patient and transparent, and they always go the extra mile to help (e.g. they gave us a bag of goodies for our kittens upon their first visit). The techs and the front-of-house staff are great and extremely knowledgeable. You couldn't ask for a better vet.

I'm a first time pet owner. Dr. Fisher & Alisa were a pleasure to work with on our first visit. Both very sweet and patient with the animals.Reception staff are kind and friendly. Very quick and easy to call and schedule an appointment. They are good with reminders and follow-ups. Much appreciated.
