The Vets, technicians and reception are amazing. They took the best care of our dog and always accommodated our schedules when booking appointments.

Was running a little late, they gave me some time which I'm thankful for, and they handled my cat wonderfully, I'm glad I waited to bring him here.

The service and care we received here was phenomenal! These guys went way above and beyond to ensure that our companion was back on the road to recovery right away. We cannot thank every staff member at TBVH enough for what they did for us! We highly recommend this hospital not just for the great staff, but also for the utmost pinnacle in excellence in animal care!

We were visiting the city and our dog had an emergency. Despite the vet shortages and us not being a patient, they rushed us in and were extremely sensitive, kind and professional through a devastating time for us.I don't think I knew who I was talking to at any given moment, the morning was a blur. They handled everything and I am forever grateful for their compassion and willingness to take us on in an instant.

Have been a client here for around 2 years and am generally happy with the service we've received. Dr. Panontin is a wonderful, compassionate vet who always take the time to answer my many questions. The other vets, technicians, and receptionists have always been wonderful too, with the exception of one or two instances which I attribute to the stress staff were under due to the pandemic.After I had to make the decision to let my senior dog go while we were visiting family in Fort Frances over the holidays, Dr. Panontin called me personally to offer her condolences, ask about what happened, and see if I had any questions. It meant so much. Since coming back with my new puppy in recent months, she's been very understanding and compassionate in addressing my questions about whether we can prevent the same thing from happening to him. They also gave us a small toy and bag of treats during his first vet visit, which I thought was sweet.Sometimes it takes a while to get an appointment, but I think that's the case everywhere in Thunder Bay right now due to a shortage of vets in the area. They've always managed to squeeze me in when my pet was in serious need of care (or vaccines in my puppy's case). They also have a new on-call system for after hours emergencies where you get connected with Smart Vet, who do a video call to determine what level of care your pet needs. It's easy to use and I hope it takes some of the stress off of their staff - it's a tough job!

I want to thank Dr. Audet and the staff for their kind and professional care of our cat, Ginger. Our 16- year old cat was in for major dental surgery. We cannot believe how quickly she recovered and how much better she is feeling. Her quality of life is greatly improved. Thank you.Helen and Joe Cimone

Dr. Sanzo is a knowledgeable and down to earth vet, who makes me feel like my pets are under great care. We had to put my dog down and he made me feel comforted in knowing Yugi wasn’t suffering anymore.

Brought my 14 year old dog Cole in from Atikokan who was very sick and needed to rest in peace.The staff and everyone there were amazing they made us feel so at ease through the process very compassionate, Thank you all for helping my boy he was lucky to have such great and caring people through the process ❤️.

Took My dog to this place to remove quilswas charged $453.29 and they didnot remove all off them do not take your pets here I am very sad I hope this goes under out of business for good Floyd

Dr. Panontin is the best for exotics! She’s very gentle with my hedgehog and explains treatments thoroughly.
