Backroad Mapbooks (BRMB)

I ride motorcycle on dirt roads. I bought the bc/ab SD card for my GPS. I find the content good but overpriced by around 30%. The map doesn't play well with garmin and screws up when routing. Best practice is to turn off brmp when traveling between cities or anything inside a city. This is annoying. I found the support from brmb excellent so far!

Recently bought the BRMB Adventure" books for Ontario. They are well produced and super-detailed. Great for planning vacations and adventures. Also bought the GPS map for Ontario. Plug and play with my Garmin hand-held and works fine."

I own pretty much the full BC book series, from the South Coast to Northern BC. These books have been invaluable in helping me plan my family adventures which range from back road adventures, fishing trips, cycling and hiking. The books are very thorough in their descriptions and so far their accuracy has been spot on. The accuracy is very important to me as I take my two young daughters with me most of the time and really like to avoid too many 'surprises'. Thanks BRMB for a great product!

Out of the blue restarted a membership that I cancelled a year ago. Then ignored multiple emails over a month about the issue. I suppose fraudulently charging people and hoping they can't be bothered to cancel the credit card charge is one way of making money, but it's extremely incompetent or just malicious. Beware giving them your credit card info as they've evidently had system errors and do not have anybody that can even answer emails. Update, 2 months later: they refunded the charges but didn't communicate in any way.

I purchased book for NFLD / Labrador trip.It is a thick book with many profiles and from what I see, many detailed maps. I look forward to my trip to the Rock".I have no doubt this map book will be of great help. I have already planned waterfall locations as well as hiking trails to pursue.thanks BRWB team."

We moved to Central Alberta from Ontario about 6months ago. We love it here in the foothills of the Rockies and love exploring the outdoors and backroads, but would loose cell service and never felt comfortable venturing too far without our GPS service. These books are amazing!! They not only show the roadways, but show so much more pertinent information for outdoor enthusiasts like ourselves. I highly recommend these backroad map books and the price is very reasonable for all the information in them!

Had several products from this brand that were quite good but the last one I bought didn't even have main roads surrounding my house on it. I requested a refund, sent it back which cost me 20+$, then they shortchanged my refund with no explanation whatsoever??... Should of kept it in case I ran into a wobbly table...

The map book is awesome. The web map and app are pretty good with some flaws like having to re-login every month when my PRO subscription renews or the system randomly decides to kick you out. It's also not properly uploading my tracks from the app to the web mapUnfortunately their customer service is HORRIBLE. It takes days to get a response, if you get one at all and so far not at all helpful at resolving the issue of tracks not loading properly. I'd also sent a couple emails about the custom maps they offer but only a we sent this to our cartography department" but that was after the second email and I haven't heard back from them and that was weeks ago."

Recently bought BRMB - Mapbooks for AB and AB/BC card for my GPS. Installation in Garmin Basecamp was easy and seamless. Great integration with Birdseye satellite imagery. Detail of access is as good as PatchMap at a fraction of the cost. Excellent tool for both work and play.Thanks guys.

Great map books for looking for out of the way places (and popular places). You do need a magnifying glass though, as each page contains so much information. The guides are a bonus. Great descriptions of parks, fishing spots and trails. Excellent production. Highly recommended.
