Bridge of Dreams
Nice park right on the Princeton gold panning reserve. Beautiful spot for a swim or pan for gold.

Quite a nice bridge. This picture is from under the bridge. Dog likes it better closer to the water

Bridge of Dreams
Review Date: July 22nd, 2015Coming here does not in fact bridge your dreams with reality. How could would it be to walk across a bridge and step in to one of your dreams? Relive some of those wacky and crazy dreams you had as a kid. Relive that dream you had when your student loan debt was finally paid off. Maybe even relive that time you dreamt that you were a whale that swam in clouds.Ok, so maybe reliving some dreams would be a terrible idea. The mind comes up with some crazy things to piece together during our sleep cycles. Some good, some weird, some confusing as hell. Luckily, you won’t have any of that here. This bridge is just a bridge. No Narnia-esque alternate dimensions here. Just calm, beautiful nature with more nature to boot. The Bridge of Dreams is a bit of a hidden locale in Princeton. I was only here for about 2 days and never would’ve guessed it was here. But our local tour guide brought us here for something to do after the Princeton Museum. The first thing I noticed with the bridge is how beautiful it is. I’ve seen a few bridges that are accessible to foot traffic and this one takes the cake for the design. The bridge has two beautiful arches that run parallel down the sides. Where the arches meet in the middle of the bridge is a viewing deck off to one side that overlooks a stream. The ceiling of the bridge slopes with the arches to give it a bit of a melted look. Architecturally, this bridge is just fascinating to look at. I had a nice panoramic photo of the whole bridge but it can’t display properly on WordPress. If you think it would be fun to explore the stream below the bridge, you are in luck. You can navigate down the stream banks to reach the stream bed. At the time of our visit, the water was more a rivulet than a stream, but one can see how much water this bad boy can deal with during a rainstorm. If you somehow end up in Princeton, do yourself a favor and check out the bridge. Just make sure to pinch yourself first to make sure you aren’t dreaming.

Visited this area on a hot day, about 36 degrees. This was the most perfect location to cool down and take a swim, the creek was so clear, not cold at all, and almost no other people!

Nice area with a paved walking trail. I guess summer is over, they came and removed the porta-potties while we were there. Looks like they're going to have to work on erosion abatement on the Tulameen. There's warnings about the banks not being secure right now.
