Good people

I had a great experience with Gray's Auto!! They fit me in during their busy day and when I dropped the car off, they took my car in and had it all fixed and ready to go before the shuttle came back to get me. Fixed my AC. Was blowing hot air and now it is nice and cold. Reasonably priced too!! Would definitely recommend and will not hesitate to use this shop again for my vehicle.

The last two times I have dealt with them I have been uncomfortable. They quoted me $3400 for an exhaust, which I had done at another place foe $350. The second experience was bringing in a Toyota Corolla, which they offered to buy for $450. They said it needed 2000 in Repairs. Had the repairs done for 800 and sold the car for 3000. Was not impressed with the predatory practices.

Failed the inspection and said it would be almost $4000 to pass, which does not sit well as the car was checked before purchasing in November. Also, the inspection sticker was still valid until the end of the month. However, they put the failed sticker on when they could have left the still valid sticker so I could get a second opinion, according to the MVI act changes of 2009 (my partner even told them over the phone we would seek a second opinion so they should have left the sticker on). I was not aware of such an act or that I could get a second opinion if the sticker is still valid until I researched home; they did not provide that information, which is an extremely shady practice. I will be making a formal complaint to the registry of motor vehicles, and even if the $4000 to fix the car is legit, I will not be spending my money there as I want to deal with honest and open individuals who would tell me about MVI procedures.

Tires changes took 5hours. They are short of labor due to COVID19. I give 2stars because at least it seems they follow Maintenance manual.

Grossly overcharging people! Picked my vehicle up and got the work performed elsewhere. I’ll never waste my time with OK tire again.
