Discovery Centre
Gros Morne Park is a must see UNESO World Heritage park in Newfoundland , Canada. The Discovery center in Woody Point should be your first stop and learn everything about the 5 distinct region of the park! Then get out an explore and hiking the areas that interest you. A copy of days is not enough time, this is a very very big park!!

We did not expect to get so much help and guidance on how to spend our time on the island. The girls shared tons of information and tips to help us navigate effectively in the little time we had. The trails and spots they suggested going beyond Gros Morne Park. You should definitely stop here if you have questions.

Discovery Centre
The Discovery Centre is well done and worth the visit. The geology of Gros Morne is easily explained and contains abundant information. I would recommend going here first and then taking the hikes.

Discovery Centre
Great place to gather information about the park and relax. Beautiful views and they have a café and a gift shop. Play area for the kids. A must stop.

Best place to get historical and scientific knowledge about Gros Morne. You can also try their coffee with a great view. Good place to take a stop on the way to tablelands and trout river. Have lots of parking space.

Very detailed exhibits of both, the geographic and indigenous background of Gros Morne. Especially the well explained explanations about the Table Lands are great, with videos and stone samples to touch.

Amazing centre in Woody Point. The information inside is fascinating. Heritage, geology, history and art. Located at the bottom of Lookout Trail, a must do if you are able bodied. Allow 2.5 to 3 hrs round trip for the hike. It's a tough one but views are rewarding. Especially the Tablelands, Unesco worthy.

A first class facility from the parking lot to the building to the educational exhibits, shop and cafe! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I had the ham and Swiss cheese sandwich, which was made that day. It was delicious! We then hiked the lookout trail.
