Tammy and Michael were exceptional and made this devastating process much easier. I can not express how much appreciation we feel for their compassion and professionalism during this difficult time. Tammy was very thorough throughout the whole process and explained every detail and kept me up to date as soon as she had any new information. I wish I could’ve given her a big hug to show her how grateful I was. I can’t thank Tammy and Michael enough. I highly recommend Woodland Funeral Home in Mission, should you ever require these services.

Michael and his staff went out of their way to provide a wonderful service for our Mom so we could honour her in special ways despite the limitations from the Health Region due to the Pandemic. They were very helpful and very comforting and directed us to other resources if we needed them. Thank you to this great team in such a difficult time for families like ours.

I have never had to do this before, I just knew the steps that had to be taken! Mom passed peacefully through M.A.I.D, (medical assistance in dying) and her transport was not only professional, the funeral home chauffeurs were compassionate and empathetic. Upon meeting with Mike at Woodlawn and his NO pressure sales for cremation, made it easier to focus on what needed to be done and the ability to start grieving. They handled everything and what they couldn't help with, they had names and numbers of who to contact!Michelle Webber-Rykers

Tammy was the most AMAZING person to work with as we planned all the details for my husband's funeral and ordering of the grave marker. She went above and beyond for our entire family as we had a few hiccups the day of the funeral. Tammy was organized and even though we had a tight timeline she made things happen. She was patient, compassionate, and never once pressured us in any way. Tammy wanted us to have what we wanted. She is worth her weight in gold.
