Mr. Chips Fish Place
Excellent fish combo platter! I had the Captain's Platter with large piece if haddock, scallops, shrimp, and clam strips. Ordered a Cesar salad instead of the fries and it was half the plate and delicious. Definitely a place to visit if in areas.

A great place. We had battered mushrooms and halibut and fries. The batter was nice and light. Staff is very friendly. Definitely would go back

My dad is a Fish N Chip junkie so we treated him for an early fathers day dinner.They make a mean fish n chips healthy portions and both the fish and the fries were nice and crispy. I do wish the cost to add a second piece of fish wasn’t so high ($12-16) or I would have tried both the haddock and halibut.The Gravy is outstanding, it has a nice roast beef flavour to it and would make for a mean hot roast beef or hot hamburger sandwich. Maybe next time.I’m not much of a tartar sauce fan but my wife said it tasted home made and heavy on the pickle side. She also really liked the slaw. (Vinegar base not mayo)The waitress was extremely friendly and her vibe matched the old school mom and pop atmosphere.Docked points for servicing drinks in the can, but get atleast they give you a glass with ice as well.#FishNChips#Fries#fishandchips

Pretty good fish and chips. Had the Halibut with Fries. Fish cooked perfectly, crispy, not oily. Fries weren’t bad though needed a bit of work. Bit on the pricey side at $22 but what’s cheap these days.Have eaten there several times and have not been disappointed.

Everyone has been raving about how good their fish snd chips are so we tried the Haddock, chips and coleslaw which was delicious!!! Nice white tasty fish, lots of chips and coleslaw was the best we have ever had. We will definitely be eating there again.

12 of us went for lunch for a birthday celebration .. the portions are large! Fish is lightly battered and crispy, fries are crispy and delicious… gravy was rich and delicious. Chicken souvlaki dinner was also yum. Despite only 1 server, server was great and cheerful.

Amazing!!! I haven't had fish like this in years we will be returning it was worth every penny. It was 15 per person, but you get a massive piece of fish and tons of home made fries FYI - You have to dine in to get the cod

Fast friendly service, absolutely delicious food. M had the shrimp dinner, I had the breaded scallops dinner. The deserts looked good as they went by, but we were too full for pie.

This place leaves me always puzzled. The food is terrific and usually over the top. But they are simply understaffed leaving long wait times. I feel bad for the lone server assisted by kitchen staff. I've had the pleasure twice now of having there Wednesday special double cod dinner. Last night the cod portions were not only small but seemed over cooked and very greasy. The fish batter was soggy. It's a shame since we really love this place
