I am a former Bride, from the US, and we were thrilled with our decision to use Magnifik and Emilia as our photographer for our destination wedding in Banff. When I was looking at options, Emilia's online galleries through her website and social media helped me to get a great sense of her style. She has the ability to capture the intimate small moments in between the traditional photographs - which we loved.Emilia was easy to work with from beginning to end, even being that most of our communication was through email. I received endless comments on how beautiful our photos were and that she was worth every penny. The great part was that Emilia's pricing was completely reasonable for photography that we will hold onto for the rest of our lives.As a local, Emilia knew all the great photography spots and helped us manage our timeline so we got all our shots in at all the great locations. Emilia was perfection from start to finish! Booking with her was straight forward and stress free. We told her our vision for our day and she recommended a package that was right for us. On the day of the wedding she instantly felt like an old friend, blending right in with the busyness of the day and making us all feel at ease. She captured so many candid moments that many in our family didn’t even know she was around for. Getting married in the mountains means you’re at the mercy of mountain weather and even though it rained and got quite windy at times, Emilia didn’t waver. Her experience and knowledge of the area was very clear. She captured our day perfectly and we will treasure these images for a lifetime.

Emilia was such a pleasure to work with! We didn't have any communication prior to the wedding as she was booked through my planner so I wasn't sure what to expect initially. Emilia was so friendly and we could tell how she is genuinely passionate about what she does. We loved working with Emilia for our wedding photos. From the moment we contacted her through our COVID reschedule, and then changes in plans, she was friendly and responsive. She put everyone at ease and fit right with our families! And our photos were delivered right on schedule, even though she had a tonne of weddings including her own this summer! Emilia is a wonderful person and photographer. When I saw her portfolio on her website I knew I wanted her to photograph our wedding. She is so kind and caring in all of our communications and is easy to talk to. We had our engagement photos in OCT 2019 and they are perfect. When the covid pandemic changed our wedding plans Emilia was happy to work together to build a new plan. We hired Emily for our small, pandemic, winter wedding. There were so many options for photographers in the Bow Valley and I felt overwhelmed by all the packages. Emily came highly recommended from close friends and she did not disappoint! From the time Emily arrived at our house, where we were hosting the ceremony, she so professional and ready to go! She completely understood that we were not super comfortable in front of the camera but made the whole process very enjoyable. Her knowledge of the area, comfort in taking charge (specifically with organizing the first look), eye for detail and knowledge of the Canmore area made our day so very special. From day one Emilia was absolutely incredible. She made planning a COVID wedding so much easier and was so flexible with ever changing plans. Not only did we get stunning pictures capturing the day, she assisted us with everything from last minute planning to tracking down our missing cake to helping me with my dress. She got fantastic portraits while also capturing so many candid moments and worked seamlessly with our videographer. If your looking for a photographer I would say hire Emilia without another thought. I still look through our wedding photos weekly!
