Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
Me and my friend came here for lunch. We absolutely love the meat we picked out. We were also given miso soup and salad before the meat came in.The meat were tender, soft, with hints of flavours and is in the right proportion. We finished the meal. The server explained to us how the menu worked since it was both our first time at this location especially for me when it comes to all you can eat cooking.There was not as much people during the day which was great and offer free wifi. The only downside is that they claim to say that there is 4 hour free parking in the visitor underground parking but my friend had to pay $3.00. I'm not sure if that was suppose to happen.Otherwise, I would love to come back again and bring my family here! I had a great time.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
I love love love gyu-kaku. Their meats actually have flavour even without any sauce but their sauces are also heavenly (especially the spicy one)! The portions are also just right for the price.If it's your first time, you must try the harami skirt steak!! It is so good, literally what I keep coming back for!Ive been to multiple grill houses and gyu-kaku is still my favourite!

I came here with my family (group of 10) and we were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful this restaurant is. It was easy to make a reservation and service was excellent.At other BBQ places nearby, we have found the ambience to be too noisy and restaurant to be too crowded. We had some seniors with us that day and they comfortably enjoyed their food. The restaurant is well ventilated so you feel like there’s smoke in your eyes or smell of the food afterwards.The meat is high quality and tasty. It’s mid range in price and it is best to go with a group.We are definitely going again and are excited to try other foods on the menu.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
This place was great. The food was excellent and great atmosphere. You can hang out for couple of beers or have the whole BBQ experience. Staff was very nice. You can park for free for a max of 4 hours in the indoor parking. However, the ticket given to us to validate the parking didn't work. So we had to pay out of pocket.

went here for a Christmas lunch, the place was too busy so make sure to have a reservation. It took a while for the food to arrive, but overall the meat are well flavored. A little pricey, but its worth it.+++ smores for dessert is a plus!

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
Their “beyond beef” rice bowl was one of the best things I’ve eaten in a while. I absolutely love Japanese food and eat only vegan or vegetarian so this is SO nice. It’s also REALLY good the next day. I didn’t order the salad and miso soup it came with and it was such a treat! I’ll be ordering this a lot from now on.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
I've been to the downtown Toronto location of Gyu-Kaku a couple of times but this was my first time dining at their Mississauga location to celebrate a friend's birthday. Gyu-Kaku remains my favourite BBQ place in the GTA! All of the dishes we ordered were amazing! Part of what I love about Gyu-Kaku is its selection and quality of non-BBQ dishes - I would order the signature salad, the sukiyaki bibimbap, and the spicy tuna volcano agian and again. The Sauga location has generous spacing and the service was consistently excellent, and I enjoyed their birthday service! The value is also quite good (or even better) compared with other BBQ restaurant of similar level/quality in the GTA.Just beware of the confusing parking situation. The free parking is NOT the outdoor spaces in front of the restaurant, but rather in the underground garage (and mind you it has two entrances, one only for residents and the other for visitors). And the exterior entrance that faces the outdoor parking area is currently closed - you have to enter from the mall lobby. Also, in order to get reward points, make sure you ask for them BEFORE you get the bill (not before you pay)!! I would highly suggest the restaurant put a notice about that beside each table as I have gotten confused/forgotten a few times now.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
This was one of the best dinners and best customer service I have ever had in my life. Our server Jay was so kind and friendly. This was out first time here, and he helped my partner and I by talking with us at eye level and going through the menu with us. He provided concise and detailed recommendations and explanations of the menu items. He went above and beyond, and made the 13 hour drive well worth it.Also, food 10/10. We had the chef's choice for 2, and the portions were very well for the price. The meat was high grade, and the seasoning-- out of this world! (No pictures because we kept gobbling the food before we could even take pictures lol.)If you haven't tried this place yet, run and do so!
