Dr. Ram took excellent care of our beloved 8-month Bella (Eskimo/Westie mix). She was fully vaccinated and spayed with laser in January 2020. Scar is now undetectable,.and she is thriving. He's the best and truly cares about our pets.

Dr Ram and Dr Sue are wonderful. I live 2.5 hours from Kap and always bring my dog to Dr. Ram, sometimes seeing him in Hearst, and despite the drive I will continue seeing them for all her care. I've always had good experiences bringing my dog there, she is a German Shepherd and she does not like the vet and they've always been incredibly patient with her. I recently had to bring her in for an emergent visit when she got a toy stuck in her throat and they were great. She was panicking and scared and acting out, and they were patient and gentle with her even though she was tough to get an IV in. It's very evident they really care about your pet. They've also been very helpful with providing help over the phone for her follow-up care. Excellent vets, and they truly care about your animals. Also, considering we came in after hours, had them both there for over an hour, and my dog required IV sedation and take home medication, the price was definitely reasonable. 100% recommend the Kap Vet Hospital.

Wonderful staff 2 great vets to take care of your pets. Very clean rooms and waiting area. Has 24 hour emergency services for your pet. Offers laser surgery for minimal impact on your pet. Lab work done onsite. Pet food available as well. Located just off highway 11, lots of parking.

Received excellent emergency/urgent services for my dog whilst in the area (am not a local) on a Friday of a long weekend no less. Place was very busy, but they took time to slot me in and provided care to the same level as if I was a long term customer. Thank you. UPDATE: The vet, Dr. Ram, even called to follow up on the Monday (still long weekend) as to how Willow was doing. How great is that!

Best vet and staff I have ever dealt with. They went above and beyond to accommodate my extremely large dog's needs and were so professional, kind and helpful to me. All my questions were listened to and directly answered. I was constantly kept in the loop on potential costs. I am very grateful this team was here for us!

Our Blue is a rescue that has high anxiety and doesn't like men so much as she was abused badly by a man, but the Veterinarian was amazing! Our Blue was amazingly good, as he put her at ease really quickly. Could not be happier.

We were traveling from Calgary Alberta to Deep River Ontario, when our 10 year old dog got sick on the first night of our 3 day drive. I was worried about dehydration and called the Kapuskasing Veterinary Hospital clinic when we were 2 hours away. They were so kind to squeeze us into their busy schedule on July 12th. Dr Ram checked her out and confirmed that she was very dehydrated. He recommended putting her on an IV to rehydrate her with fluids. He also ran a full battery of blood tests. She spent 2 1/2 hours in their clinic getting a full bag of fluid through IV while we wandered around Kapuskasing with our other dog. We left with medication and GI food. We can’t thank them enough for providing such great care to a dog that wasn’t even their patient!

I've had multiple animals seen by Dr. Ram and Dr. Susan and it is always a pleasure! Sad Dr. Ram is fixing to retire. Hope he enjoys every last moment of his career.

**UPDATE** Dr. Ram is the only vet in town and is my regular vet now. Dr. Ram and his team do an awesome job with my pets and the community. Thank you Dr. Ram for your dedication to our community. I am very thankful. Anytime I have had any experience with you, you have been knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Thank you! Since the last few visits have been great I have upped my stars to 5 stars as its been earned. ** Dr. Ram was great to see my dog as my regular vet at the time wasn't back. I was able to get what she needed. I paid more then I had been told or expected due to the girl misunderstanding me is why I gave 4 stars.Dr. Ram was patient, kind and was quick to giving her her shots. Thank you.
