Local Harvest Market

Lovely little market near the Chilliwack Herridge Show Park on the edge of town. They have a wonderful variety of local produce including delicious homemade Chocolate Sourdough Bread and interesting products like Water Buffalo Milk. Definitely a real gem for patrons that like quality food.

I recently stopped in to pick up a loaf of sourdough. The very helpful young lady asked which of the six kinds. Having no idea, I took one of each and promised to give my feedback. The staff of Ripples Winery and myself had an absolute feast of sourdough bread, butter, and wine and came up with our top picks out of all of these excellent breads. Unanimously, we all loved the White and the Country best, and Rye was close, but the others were delicious too. We preferred the square pan loaves to the round free form loaves, as they seemed to have a better crust to bread ratio. We will be picking these up regularly from now on!

Great market with amazing farming practices. Produce is nutrient rich, lovely bakery and staff. Their choice of personal care products (Glowing orchid organics) is also top notch, local and ethically sourced.

Delicious food! I love their sandwiches and salads. Love their milk selection too , very high quality, that’s what you pay for. Highly recommend this little gem on Lickman… the scones! Yes, they’re so good

First time shopping there today, as directed by Anita’s mill to go there to buy their flour. Loved all the other options for products. Will definitely be back when I shop for my horse feed just across the road!!

Way too expensive, I bought a Caesar salad for $12 and most of the lettuce was the end pieces and brown. And cmon $12 bucks for lettuce??? Insane.Their service is nice and their bread is good but just way to expensive in my opinion!

As soon as we opened the car door, the delicious smell of bakery and fired pizza made me excited to go in. Local flours, honey, baked bread, tea! So wonderful! I tried all the pizzas and really enjoyed the mushroom and kale. The girls in the store are always doing their very best. They are polite and helpful. This is my new favorite local market! Keep up the amazing work!

I had the opportunity to visit the Local Harvest Farm and Market a couple of weeks ago and attended their Gardening Course. We started indoors learning some basics in the classroom then we headed outside for some examples of how to lay down seedlings or transplants into a plot. After planting we had the opportunity to start our own seedling tray with over 70 seeds provided by the farm. I planted things that I never knew existed. I got to take the tray home and placed it on my deck. Let's see what I will grow on my patio this year. Very excited and looking forward to learning more and taking more photos and videos. It's all of my passions rolled up into one day, lol.

This is my new favourite store! We happened to be there during Mother’s Day celebrations and it was a fantastic introduction to this wonderful place. It was a Saturday so they had their wood fired pizza oven on and all I can say is WOW! Brilliant pizza. I had the mushroom pizza which includes a thyme cream sauce, oyster mushroom, kale, Gouda cheese, it was divine. I could only finish half as it was a hot day and had the rest later. They have a lovely seating area which is sheltered from the sun with a nice breeze.Everyone was very friendly and the quality of the produce is top notch. Their multigrain sourdough bread is excellent, everything we had from here I can’t say enough good about. The best applesauce I have ever had and it is unsweetened, sugar free. Since it was a celebration they had local vendors and were giving away free full size samples of various in store products.I wish we didn’t live over an hour away I would come here every week!

1st time visit today. Deli food should be delicious considering the cost of food today and that it has now become a luxury item in this economy, your ham sandwich was not worth the $11 I paid for it. The bread was spongy... was this gluten free or something? Pls don't say sourdough because I know what sourdough should taste like. Stuffed with too much veg and only 1 thin slice of cheese. The only other deli item I bought was the potato salad... such a tasteless offering... just big chunks of potato... maybe the poor creation is due to reducing prep time to save time.... making it chunky country style is much faster... and people will buy it because it looks artisan perhaps? I came home and basically remade it adding some of my own ingredients. Again very pricey for a half container. Your bakery looks lovely so I hope you can accept my concerns to improve your offerings.... looks like you have great potential!
